It’s so hard to fathom because you’re young and look very healthy with no indication anything is wrong. Every situation is different, so I hope you have a better outcome than what the odds say. The conductor Michael Tilson Thomas, who recently turned 80 and was diagnosed with glioblastoma in 2019, is still around and continues to conduct concerts. There’s also that famous case of the person who has lived with it for 20 plus years. Wishing you the best.

@@b286guy Yup, so long as I can keep getting QoL. I’m not too worried. The 20+ year person had multiple brain surgeries and still goes in to get treatments from time to time. I’m not trying to have a bunch of brain surgeries. Massive risks each time. I don’t fear death, but if I’m bed ridden? That would destroy me. Thanks for the comment!

I know what you mean about changing locations. I've been on the move all my life. When I was 50, I got into working as a park ranger for the NPS and got to live in Yellowstone, the Redwoods, and Buffalo National River, to name just a few. The Ozarks are beautiful but definitely muggy. Sounds like you've lived a full life in a short time. Some people do the reverse.

I came to this video not long after watching a video from NBC, where they interviewed a young 13 year old figure skater called Jinna Han, where she spoke about her hopes and dreams of being an Olympian. She lost her life in that plane crash in DC last week. The fact is we don’t know when our time is up. But No particular day will erase you from the memory of Time.

Dr Boz focuses a lot of her time on brain function. You have an amazing outlook. Like, don't send money to this guy yet. He is 34, doesn't care about dying, had brain surgery for a frontal lobe glioblastoma, yet has a single line of staples with little hair removal - they have to open a chunk of your skull and lift a plate of bone for this surgery. Why is there not more hair removed? ALSO, he is DRIVING!! People with glioblastoma are advised not to drive from diagnosis until two years after treatment. Yet, people had to work hard to convince him to ask for money. He had a great job and loves to work but couldn't save six months of living expenses? I'm not saying I know for sure, but this is fishy. I had a relative who died of glioblastoma - with a partial lobectomy, there should be some cognitive deficits here. Sorry, I just don't trust everything I see on KZbin.

One of my relatives has it. He started having headaches and was diagnosed with GBM in 2017. Fast forward to November 2024, and his tumor started to recur. I think the MGMT test results determine whether TMZ will work on your tumor. He’s doing absolutely fine he was dancing at his dad’s retirement party and looking really sharp. My mother has it as well, and they’ve removed more than 95% of the tumor. She’s completed radiation and the first cycle of chemo. Now, she just takes chemo meds for five days a month at home. We’ve also opted for Dendritic cell therapy, which the doctor said might show some positive results. So, she gets one shot of the DCT vaccine in each arm every two weeks (six sessions in total). There is a doctor in Himachal Pradesh, India, who gives Tibetan medicine for cancer. His guru, who passed away a few years ago, was the doctor to HH Dalai Lama and was awarded the Padma Shri for cancer treatment, which is the highest civilian award in India. Now I’m not saying you should go to that doctor but you should explore alternatives because i believe nature has a cure for everything. Even if it helps just 5%, I’ll take that with both hands. Sorry I couldn’t structure the paragraphs well as I’m too sleepy. Just another night of scrolling and doing research about this disease. I am currently with my mother since October 22 , 2024 and i have decided to be with her till … You sir are very brave and i whole heartedly believe that you will exceed the expectations of every doctor who told you that you have x amount of time left, its a battle , the stronger you are mentally higher are your chances of winning. By winning i mean to get more quality pain free time, even 6 months of that are worth it.

Did you notice a decline in your health after the fact?
@youMatterItDoesGetBetter2 сағат бұрын
@ not at all. This GBM grew within 30-60 days. It’s a nutso cancer. Unlike any others. I had a bodybuilding show 1 month after taking the Covid vaccine. Lifting super, super heavy and eating 3,300 calories a day. Lots of people got the jab and don’t have cancer. Most cancer takes years to grow… this one is insidious. It blows people’s minds when they actually have to be around the diagnosis. They just can’t understand. No health issues besides sudden, head-splitting migraines. Eventually you vomit on yourself (without reaction time) and then you have a seizure of some sort. Eventually an MRI will tell the story.
