Cool but kind of spooky how your 3 selves look up one at a time :) Beautifully sung! Will keep my eyes open for Dimash releasing a reaction video ... wouldn't that be wild?

We teach children skills such as reading, writing and swimming because we understand that if nobody teaches you these skills you will probably never learn them. And yet for some reason we treat singing differently. As far as I know we don't teach children how to sing in primary school (at least I was never taught any singing techniques at school). We are treating singing as a skill you just have to be born with. So if you can't sing, apparently you weren't born with the skill. Perhaps we should start treating singing the same as reading, writing or swimming and start teaching all children how to do it. And then, thirty odd years from, if you would do the same interview in the park the results would perhaps be different.

Ultimately life is short, far too short for a lot for one reason or another. This video (to me) shows the cycle of life and death. You can scream during birth (giving new life) or scream experiencing death of a loved one. Natural death, however hard, is always more acceptable than a life cut short through war. I don't think he was "leading people" so much as joining the "lost" of all nationalities and faiths through wars. I am glad you don't watch the news. I don't either. News of wars always percolates through but at least the propaganda narratives justifying squandering public monies on weapons and relatives taking fathers/sons/brothers and nowadays wives/mothers/sisters/daughters to fight some manufactured pumped up idea of evil to boost profits of politicians/corporations and bankers. It seems that there is absolutely no diplomacy left in the world. Let us ALL choose life and leave "the scheming few" to dwindle in their lost "power". A very powerful message in this song and the video would have been far less impactful without a taste of what those who are forced to fight or are caught up in war actually experience. Our news has been sanitised for decades "for our protection" but ultimately to control us because if everyone truly knew the reality and futility of war who would let the politicians get away with it?

hi, you definitely need to respond to the song “Fly away on the wings of the wind” from Diana Ankudinova. This is from the Mask show, it will blow your mind, an incredible voice you have never heard before. this song is from the opera "Prince Igor" by Alexander Borodin, a famous Russian composer of the 19th century kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmbMipiXgt2lfqMsi=fvWEOJSvnAJ7AAwx

It's raw - that's the word. The volume conveys the raw feelings. It's not just singing a song, it's really conveying those experiences she's singing out.

The slower tempo and lower key both convey more reflection on life. My understanding is that she had already had some major life experiences at 23. She wasn't singing out of no real experience at all, but obviously now she has so much more life experience.

You should be ashamed that you can't interrupt the songs. Look at it first, and then process it and do an analysis, you should be ashamed.

This will give you a good idea of how good Freddie was when he didn't have laryngitis as he did in the Live Aid performance. When Freddie leaves the piano the second time, he looks behind him as he's crossing the stage. Brian has had some sort of guitar malfunction and he keeps the song going until Brian gets back and gives him a wee nod. He then continues the song. Absolute professionalism from all the band - they were so tight!

I just love Natalie Dessay. The costume with the bouncy collar conveys her nervous/neurotic energy. I feel like she knows her daughter may not follow orders so she’s already beside herself with frustration. With all that frenetic energy, I can just see the sanity seeping out of her ears. She is a desperate mother and anxious queen. This is my favorite visually of all these versions.

He is not an English person so for me it really doesn't matter about his pronunciation, but his music, his art, his talent, the sensitivity, the love and the passion that he always puts in every single word he sings that really matters. Dimash is beyond human. He is just one of my happiness. Love for all of us "Dears".

I clicked on the channel as I love to hear what musicians and voice coaches have to say above David's performance, his interpretation of the song, his arrangement, his vocal technique and talent, etc. Instead of that, I get you moaning about how you prefer the original better and dont like that he's changed it. I guess that it still kind of a reaction video, but the title is kind of false advertising that we are going to get a vocal coach critique of the performance. Any muppet can give a video of "their opinion". Thats not what your viewers are looking for as the many negative comments have hopefully revealed to you my dear. Just so you know, I actually turned you off maybe 3 or 4 mins before the end. Needless to say I wont be subscribing to your channel. Perhaps reflect on what you are providing to your viewers. We dont want to watch "a personal opinion". We want to see expert's critique.

I find it hard to believe that as a voice coach you cant see that this is probably THE BEST cover of ANY song in the history of covers! 🤷‍♂️ Paul Simon even gave his endorsement of the song and even posted it on his site! So if Paul can appreciate this cover, i dont understand how YOU cant or dont appreciate it.

@@ozramblue117 Because most if not all of Angelina’s followers have built up a strong shield of protection around her. It matters not if the reaction is honest or not, they love her so much they don’t want to hear anything but positive reinforcement. My comment was not a hit piece on the person as a reactor, just letting it be known that Angelina’s fan base is like step parents to this up and coming artist. If you want to gain them as an audience, walk lightly.
