@user-eb7rc9wy4s so true about the hot glue...also on this type of foam, super glue also works..the nose took a pretty good hit...and compressed the fuselage length by a 1/2"(13mm)..so I will order a replacement...

@chrisfetner332 yep...both of us together ain't got a full deck.....but on the fun side...we both haven't flown rc planes in many years(cub guy about 30years...and me going on 10 or so)... With that being said...our only option is to join AMA then a local rc club...all said and done is another $200 and that is something I'm not really interested in...

Once in a rhythm it's not too bad.... But doing it at a pay range by the hour sucks....I found most places don't allow pre loaded mags...but..that's how it is... I can only imagine if pulled over by sheriff buford t. Justis the crap that will go down for loaded mags in the vehicle...

@@okiedoak201 OK thanks. I believe that if connect lights to the number ports at the module (chassis) the application will not allow to control them. Did you tried this?

It is connected to either the "M" or "N" port on the body mounted module....don't forget...it also must be connected to the Bluetooth adapter and the running the Traxxas software...then you can assign your ports to the lighting... And yes...Traxxas did not do any favors with there micro size connector...definitely not a industry standard...

No problem...simple procedure I removed the air box and anything that was in the way.

Not greasy at all...

Where the issue comes into play is the voltage from other aftermarket components...Traxxas operates there light system around the 3.5v area...and from what I have experienced from other sources is there lights are on a 6v system... The plug assignment is fixed to aux 4 and 5 ...on the pro scale software on your phone you will see the options for each assignment number..."Y" harnesses come in to help with splitting up lights...but you can't split right off the light directly because of the special plug traxxas uses which is much smaller than industry standard....stay with traxxas lighting and no problem....other manufacturers you may have to use additional battery or a different remote to operate the lights..(rc4wd)... So to answer your first question.....none Question 2...yes...all other ports operate other assigned positions...if your creative....(like I had to be)...the fog lights in the bumper are RC4WD parts.(video i dont think shows them)..and didn't work on traxxas system....I rewired the lights to parallel so the voltage is correct...

I used the Kit from Aliexpress and used a rc Switch running @Receiver Voltage an around 6v. for the Rocklights from Traxxas i used a Step Down Modul from Amazon. I found some where u can set fixed Voltages. I set mine to 3V. Thats ok for the Rocklights. I tested them on 6V for under 5 Minutes and they worked, but i dont know how hot they get on a Trail;) Next i add an LED Bar to the Bumper wich works from 5 to 7.4V.

@Braindog awesome and good to know...all the lights used on this bronco are still able to be controlled by the Traxxas app...and plugged into the body control module...without any mods...if I start going directly to the reciever (which is fine) I would need a higher channel transmitter to actually control the on /off function of the light through a separate channel...or use the RC4WD lighting module and key fob remote to control the lights on there setup(6v if I recall) so then there are two separate systems...

Yea...it actually is a light tan color...

@@okiedoak201 Thanks, I actually scored two K&B modified lowers, one is a 3.5 and one is a 7.5, both for $75. Found them on a R/C Boat group. Should have them by next week. Now to find hulls and motors to put together some runners. Guess I'll have to figure out what to put the 7.5 on.

@Witt's Wild Outdoor Adventures (@Southpaw_Reels) sounds like you made a awesome score...well done...the G30 tunnel from Zippkits...I would race that against any other "race" on the market....as far as the 7.5....I'm clueless

@@okiedoak201 Yeah, I was looking at the Zippkits. Danny was running one the other week at the pond, but he had a nitro 3.5 O.S. on it. Good looking hulls for sure. Maybe if we can get enough guys running electric we can have more races, I know Pop is always trying to get new members.

@blue03r6 one other thing....if you want to add weight to the boat....keep the weight along the center line if the boat forward/aft....if added to the nose it will make the boat tippy with throttle action...

The crackerbox is a very enjoyable class to run...this particular model from Zippkits is a joy to build and the laser cutting is top notch...keep the boat light as possible and a trick I found....if weight is needed...put the weight along the centerline on the bottom of the boat..
