After one flight I pulled the flight controller out of my carbon cub and replaced it with the new AR410 4 channel receiver. No gyro but not really needed since it's such a stable platform

@JordanColeman-r8w that sound like a aweso.e idea...like that's how it should have come originally or with a AR631 only....👍

Did Paul have a Crash with his Carbon Cub 1.3 meter? That final Cub take off in this Video looked like it went fairly well but then I lost sight of it after about 10 seconds due to my small screen on my Samsung Phone. I hope Paul soon has a successful flight with this iconic Horizon Hobby RC Airplane that has proved to be a easy and comfortable Trainer RC Airplane for many the past decade when it was originally released as the Parkzone Sport Cub (Red and White Color scheme) in the late Spring of 2014 and it is still keeping me engaged as the Carbon Cub S2 1.3 after I owned a few of the Parkzone Sport Cub 1.3 meter starting in the Spring of 2016. Are you a Full Scale Pilot Robert? I thought I heard you mention something to that in a response to a question in one of your previous RC Flying Videos about why you were flying the EDF Habu STS Jet in more level circuits than doing more aerobatics. I basically fly the Hobbyzone Carbon Cub 1.3 meter in Scale fashion also for about 5 minutes and only have ever utilized a 3s 1300 mAh lipo battery and have been quite satisfied. Happy RC Flying Guys 😊🛩💯👌

@norrismosierjr7956 wow...ok..short answer..yes..the carbon cub did indeed crash again...after the plane lost control by the pavillion..it went inverted then dropped below line of site...popped back up and proceeded into a tree along the water line...a fellow fisherman in a bass boat retrieved the plane and was kind enough to return it....so to date the and has not flow one successful flight.... I had no idea of the history of the cub... And yes...Iam a private pilot with a recreational license...and enjoyed flying full size aircraft for some time... I'm glad your experience with the cub is a good one....I have herd that either you get a good one or a plane with issues....I think we got a plane made on a Friday before quitting time...

@okiedoak201 glad to hear that youlr Love for Full Scale Flying as a Private Pilot led you to RC Airplanes Robert that is very interesting. Sure hope Paul has good luck soon with his Hobbyzone Carbon Cub S2 1.3 meter 😏💯👌

@@norrismosierjr7956 sorta the other way around....I started flying RC at the age 12-13 years old....first plane was a Sig Kadet MKII....enjoyed that and mostly the building process...and have been building airplanes ever since... But have taken breaks along the way... I just recently started flying RC planes mostly because of Paul...he hasn't flown for 20ish years...and I haven't flown for 6 or so....did a lot of foam core planes for a while...

I'm guessing it's your CG, try moving the battery all the way forward, a tail heavy airplane only flies once

@JordanColeman-r8w Paul and I both checked the CG after the very first flight in june I believe (I think thatbis when he purchased the plane)...and after each successful rebuild we (I me) re he k it again...the batter is does have so.e movement but not a lot... Paul did mention a find that I will post shortly that can explain many of the symptoms were having...1st being the spektrum flight controller possible issue...the second issue I will post in a couple days...but I have been preaching hinge to Paul the the wing just doesn't seem right....it's along that line is the second possible reason.... Thanks for commenting ...and the input..👍👍
