Question if it takes 40 minutes to cook rice but i want to steam some vegetables . And vegetable only takes 15 minutes . Do i open the lid at 25 minutes add my vegetable and close the lid . And let it steam for another 15 minutes. Or how do i do it. Thanks

I just steamed some broccoli in mine and it came out great..... Add a little black pepper and salt and dip in some butter, ranch, or blue cheese and you got a nice snack.
