We were in Can Picafort. In July and August it is a little livelier on the promenade and in some of the alleys. But no comparison to Playa de Palma. It's always lively there at night.

I've been skating for more than nine years, but I would love to know how these Marathons function? I'm in the UK, do they do any marathons around there? How do you guys train, How do you guys get sponsors, where do I get all this info? What do I need to know?

Interesting. Have ridden the Berlin velothon on several ocations, one of my favorites. I notice that you don't rotate windbreaker very much (currently 20 minutes into the video) - in cycling atleast, at 30km/h on a flat road, apx. 80% of resistance comes from wind. Given sufficient strength of everyone in the group, I'd assume your finish time would improve by rotating. Also no brakes - you people got large onions. :-) Edit: OK, group shattered shortly after - I guess the group was not evenly matched. 🙂

Hello! Please excuse me for my lack of German! My wife and I look forward to visiting in the middle of May. We hear there are recommendations to hire e-bikes to take a ride from Garmisch to Eibsee. Has anyone taken this trip and are there recommendations/insights? One thing I am interested in is how we can leave the bikes for a while to do some hiking around the lake. Thank you!

Ich danke dir. Du musst dich vorn anstellen im Block. Nach hinten kommst du beim Rennen von ganz allein, wenn die Kraft nicht reicht. So ging es mir auch wieder.🙂

Tolles Video - ich war am Wochenende auch das erste mal dabei (aber nur als Läufer) - und das du dann trotz der Hitze noch unter 2h gelaufen bist. Super Leistung! Ich habe leider mein Ziel von knapp 1:40 nicht erreicht, aber unter den Umständen war ich mit 1:41 sehr zufrieden. Auf jeden Fall eine schöne Erinnerung an das tolle Wochenende :) - es war so eine geile Stimmung an der Strecke, leider waren anscheinend noch nicht so viele Leute vor Ort bei den Skatern.

Ich danke dir. Ja die Stimmung beim Lauf war enorm. Ich mache den Doppelstart jetzt schon 4 Jahre. Aber solche Stimmung an der Strecke beim Laufen, hatte ich noch nie erleben dürfen. Wir danke Berlin für das schöne Event...

One woman spread her legs too far apart in the curve and the other pushed me outwards in the curve so that I had no chance of avoiding the curb at 38km/h
