Pretty well explained, but didn’t she put the yellow and red on the ‘inside’ lane … not outside. She says outside lane. So in this example, Yellow on outside rail of inside lane … red on inside rail of inside lane.

How did you make the bridge? One second, you're putting flat track, the next minute, the whole bridge is built. This is missing from the manual, so I haven't yet done it with my set.

I don't understand how to adjust the two round dials in the bumper section to adjust for time in station and whatever else. Anybody know how to use them?

I am able to bind the controllers no problem, but when I try to code the car to the controller as in your video and the written instructions nothing happens. Batteries are new and fully charged. Any suggestions?

Are the red clips necessary? I’ve had a set for 15+ years. Never used the red clips. But the bigger question I have; can the “control/power” section be REPLACED with a standard analog power section, if I just want to run analog cars? (Yes I know I wont be able to lane change but will that lane change section need to be removed)?

Hi I am new to the hobby. I just bought a Carrera digital track set it up and my calls were working perfectly and then all of a sudden I had two cars on different tracks operating from one digital controller and the other digital controller wasn’t controlling any car. Could you tell me how to correct this, and how could I tell a digital car from analog car. Thanks.

The longer the track the lower the current can be in places on the track. This evens it out, and is also done in a fashion in the railroad hobby. Adding a beefier supply isn't needed and would probably be bad on the cars circuitry. It's just a matter of continuity.

I’ve done it. I swapped out the 14volt power supply on my old analog setup using the 18volt evolution power supply, also using the red evolution controllers. It works. Never harmed anything. BUT the problem is the power becomes more unevenly distributed thru the track. Over powered at the power section and still underpowered at farther sections. I think this wire jump trick may still help even things out.

Looks like a great addition. However, one issue concerning realism. If you are racing in a real race, and you're basically neck to neck, and it is coming down to the wire, but you are running incredibly low on fuel, you can't just glance over at your opponent to see how much fuel they have remaining, to determine the likelihood of them taking a pit stop before the checkered flag. So this accessory, while bringing slot car racing closer to reality, it does add one feature that moves the slot car experience slightly farther away from reality, and by doing so, it adds a new element to the competition that may not always be a factor, but could make a huge difference in those close races. It's easier to put the red clips in as you go. Just slide 2 of the red clips in one piece of track and slide another piece of track onto it until they are snug, then put your finger underneath and slide the red clip over until you hear it click.

Yep. Go for it. If you've got the original like me, you can get an extension for 2 more controllers. This is the newer power track and I know they have additional parts to add even more controllers. Six I think is the limit for controlled cars. Although it will run with added cars on auto. I think that can mess with the lap counter though. Call the store. Great staff.
