I mixed 6 parts perlite, 1 part refractory concrete, 1 part Portland cement, and water, for the oven floor under the tiles, It's been curing for 5 days, but it hasn't fully hardened yet. I can still dent the surface with my nail. Could it be that I used too much water, and it won't cure properly? Or will it just take more time? Or could it be the mix itself?

Guys, I've replaced on my 2015 audi Q3 the bulb lights. The original Philips was 12V 25W and when I bought the new ones, I've found a noname brand with 12V 35W. Do you believe is it ok to have 35W instead of 25W? Is it going to burn the fuse in the long run or something else? Thanks a lot to who can answer. Happy New Year and thanks for this video!!

Thank you so much for this video. It was a tremendous help and gave me the confidence to do this job on my own. Just a note, some users may run into slight differences. For instance, screws instead of clips and the bulb inserts a little differently. I have a 2016 Q3 Quatto, the North American version, and these are some of the slight differences. It's nothing that stands in the way of an easy DIY job, though. Thank you for the help.

Hi Jay, great video thank you. I am thinking of get an Elite oven and this video helped. May i ask what model you have? I am thinking about a 850TC built-in. This model has the refractory cast chamber. Thoughts?
@jaydeebee2511
@jaydeebee2511 3 жыл бұрын
They are very good. I have the 850tc on the steel stand that I then cladded up myself. 6 years old now. Still going strong. I bought it as it was easier than trying to get one build and cement rendering etc etc. I just made it easier going for the elite. Compared to a traditional wfo the opening is wider and not necessarily to the exact ratios a pizza oven should be, which means it can loose heat a little faster. And the door is nothing special. You really gotta make your own door if u want to use it as an oven per say to retain heat. But otherwise I wouldn’t think twice about buying it again. About to fire it up now for tonight’s pizza fest.
