some of my hand dyed threads, the package instructions advise wash them first gently by hand, wrap in towel to press out water, then air dry before using to stitch. some dyes on fabrics set with heat but must be careful.

I have hand made two quilts with doilies but I love the way you add all different pieces and stitch them on. It is a lot less formal than mine but very interesting colourful. So random and fun to look at. Very inspiring.
