That is an amazing piece you're working on Rachel..you've got so much beautiful cloths and you're doing an awesome job on all of them. I found a piece of curtain fabric my sister in law used for curtains in 1974...it's still vibrant and it's a corser fabric I think I'm going to try and make a needle book for her with it and add a few pieces of fabric that's older than that with lace..😅I love your channel whichever project you're working on. Thanks for sharing. 🎉❤

I have hand made two quilts with doilies but I love the way you add all different pieces and stitch them on. It is a lot less formal than mine but very interesting colourful. So random and fun to look at. Very inspiring.

Rachel, love the way you said about .. whatevverwednesday, lol. The cover of the journal is gorgeous. Rachel, that quilt looks really nice and is very slow, I would rate enjoy than go fast. My mother made one almost like yours, but it was a table cloth, we are still looking for it. I found stitching very relaxing, call me crazy, but I really enjoy it. Japanese are really good at embroidering, my mother said that they knew it in her hometown when she was young. Hi Rachel, the Chinese are very good at double sided embroidery. In Suzhou, west of Shanghai, is the center of their embroidery. I saw an embroidery of Prince Charles and Diana that was perfect on both sides. It was large and detailed. It was incredible! The Chinese grow the silk worms, pull apart the cocoons, and weave the fabric all in that area. Really fascinating. 🧐🤓

Hm. I’m wondering how much it would cost to mail over 5lbs of linen from California to Italy 🤔. I’m staring at a bag of very high end new linen I would give to you. Coming to California anytime soon? 😂
