Hi, The main difference between the RGB Critter BT and 2.0 is that the BT version can be controlled using the Ants on a Melon App. Later this week, we will release a firmware update that allows you to use limited features independently of the app, including the option to export playlists from the app to the flashlight. The BT version does not have movement or sound reactivity features, and we do not have any plans to add them now. Hello, Each RGB Critter BT includes a rechargeable 2500mAh 18650 lithium-ion battery that can last up to 7 hours at full brightness. If you want your RGB Critter BT to last longer, you can lower the brightness within the Ants on a Melon App. You can adjust the brightness 1-100% within the App.

Thank for your feedback and support! We don't feel there is an issue with the Battery Door as it won't break if the End Cap is properly installed. We also upgraded the End Cap and it's now called the Modular Cap. The Modular Cap is made of a super soft and durable silicone material and it protects the Critter from accidental drops and it makes it a lot easier to access the charging port.

great question! We just added the ability to switch modes using the top and middle buttons on the Critter and this will be available at launch in June. The only rule is that the app must be connected and a playlist within the app opened 🤙

Here are the current functions of the physical buttons: -Mode navigation (described above) -On/Off (also available in the app) -Lock/Unlock Buttons (also available in the app) -Make Available to Pair -Disconnect From Pairing (also available in the app) -Momentary Press (when activated in the app)

​@@antsonamelon I was surprised to learn how limited the functionality of the buttons were initially. As a flow artist, it's very limiting not to have control of modes in the moment. I hope further changes can be made to allow the whip to operate independently. I was hoping the app would just allow you to load up a number of custom playlists and then go and dance, navigating them like you would with a BitWhip. It's a bit of a safety issue as well, I often dance in clubs and bars. Having my phone out and on display so I can change modes with it almost doesn't seem that bad til I remember the chance of theft.

@@nunyabidnis7111 Thanks for your feedback! Since we launched the app in June 2024, this is only the base model. We will continue to improve the app and add new features as we go. As for your desire to control modes in the moment using the flashlight buttons, you can currently do this on the RGB Critter BT. To do this, the RGB Critter BT must be connected to the app, and a playlist must be opened within the app. Once these requirements are met, you can navigate up and down through the playlist modes using the Arrow and Rocket buttons on the RGB Critter BT. We are currently working on adding new functionality that will allow limited independent control of the RGB Critter BT and app, and this should be available in the Fall of 2024. ​​@@antsonamelon Commenting again as I've just tried taking the BT critter out for the first time. I was disappointed to find that there's a delay whenever you switch modes. As someone that loves incorporating color/pattern switches to the music in my flow, this makes the new critter a non-option compared to my old one. :/

Hi @fomoerotic, have you activated these features and want to turn them off? If so, here are your options: 1. Press the Arrow and Rocket buttons at the same time. The Critter will show white, red, green, and then blue (⚪ 🔴 🟢 🔵) to let you know the Setting(s) have been deactivated. 2. Soft Reset: Turn the Critter off and hold the Power button until it turns on in ⚪ (Mode 1).
