Do you stay at the van for the season Daz, it looks beautiful. My grandparents had caravans, so spent a lot of time in them in my youth! bloody long time ago 😂We had a fair bit of snow which is unusual. Great vlog, nice to see the site and your doggy 🐕 🐾🐾

My dad was only told at 15 that they were not his biological parents, mother died months after the birth and father died in Al Alemain Egypt in the war.

Absolutely you should find out who your parents are if you need/want to. Your story is fantastic and will help a lot of folk who are sitting on the fence , like you said you didn't want to cause problems or possibly get snubbed. I'm so glad you found out who your Dad was Daz, uncle Alf eh. It may seem a bit weird considering you knew him and spent a lot of your childhood with him. Anything in life is difficult to approach, I get it, but you'd think your dad or mum would have sat you down to explain. Other members of family knowing doesn't help, but it's not there place to say but welcome you when it eventually came out. You took the initiative to find out, and you got your result. I truly hope you'll be so happy together, and in time share stories and build on lost time. I'm happy for you as you've got closure. I'm still a strong believer of the saying "you can choose your friends but not your family" God bless you Daz, love to you and Jhan and stay strong my friend. 🙏💛

Thanks Lainey, if you have someone out there just do it, what have you to lose, I have enjoyed doing it, sometimes emotional and sometimes mind goes wondering about the outcome, the other side of it is saying the words sister brother or Dad, I have so many stories to tell that would shock everyone and some that I might just test the water with first

It’s a brilliant bike, unfortunately my throttle packed up after just 150 miles. Plugged in a thumb throttle I’ve nicked from another one of my ebikes for now while keteles hopefully send me another throttle. I would’ve went without the throttle forever but the pedal assist is only linked to the rear wheel.

@ yeah had to disable throttle as it was acting very erratic. And would attempt to full throttle itself when on my bike stand 😂. Atleast I can still ride it albeit slower as I can only get to 25mph on rear motor only.

@@DazPreston69 nah what I meant to say was atleast the bike would still be rideable if I didn’t have a spare lying around that happened to be compatible, I think they all use pretty much the same 3 pin yellow waterproof connector. Front motor on thumb throttle is a bit sketchy as I don’t have much control at a low speed. Pretty impressively one of the guys from the keteles factory in china successfully diagnosed it as a bad throttle pretty much immediately.

Daz, don’t ever feel that reaching out for help/support is weak, it takes a lot of strength and courage to actually open up and reach out mate 🥰 my Dad is not my biological Father, and I told my boys when they were younger, as I felt they had a right to know, that their Grandad was not their biological Grandad and explained to them that my Dad (stepdad) took my Mum on with 2 kids when I was 9 and my brother was 7. I really feel for you, to be dealing with this at the age of 55, with probably so many unanswered questions 😢 take care pal x

Remember you are held hostage by site owners. Our holiday home was our pride and joy until the owners sold the one opposite to us to an extended family. Kids ran riot, playing ball games around our van and staring through our windows, even though this was prohibited. Site owners refused to do anything and refused to move us unless we bought another van. Want to sell? Site owners take a huge chunk.

@@juststoppingby390 all depends on the site,, to be honest most are over 50s and won’t allow children, probably get away with it if they ate about 30 and still live with you. But on the safe side check with the site owners, residential is different but can be over 50s only to
