I dont no if you answer questions but here goes. I typed in google Does PSA screen cards and your video pops up. So are you assoctiated with PSA like the title above video suggests. Me and a few friends submit about a 1,000 cards a yr to PSA when we get them back quite a few come 8-9 grade however we have poped open quite a few and resumitted them and alot that where previous 9 come back 10's and sometimes 8's So this leads to my 2nd and final question. If PSA is the most trusted company in grading why would this EVER happen. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thanks

Grading is a huge scam. SGC is the lesser of the evils… more consistent than PSA, and far less corrupt.

I have literally seen multiple KZbin videos collectors and/or flippers(investors) exposing and embarrassing themselves and not even realizing it! What i mean by that is, these collectors and/or flippers, who will submit a card to PSA, obtain a low grade, then resubmit the card over and over again, until they get their desired grade. If they aren't doing that, they are literally saying, "I know this card or these cards won't gem with PSA, so I am submitting it to SGC." So, you are literally exposing yourself as a fraudster? Instead of properly evaluating your card(s) using a micro-fiber cloth, you'd rather roll the dice and send in a card you already have doubts about? Plus, what are you saying about SGC, if you send your best to PSA for 10's and your less desirable cards to SGC? I don't blame SGC for cowering and taking PSA's offer, if "this" is the reputation my company has garner, which is the red head stepchild of grading. Plus, you are attempting to scam the collector and/or buyer, because you know your card is not a PSA 10, so you attempt to milk as much money as possible by sending cards that will grade a PSA 9 or even a PSA 8 to SGC, hoping they are a bit laxed. In my opinion, I don't like SGC being purchase by Collector's Universe, because if McDonald's attempted to buy Burger King and Wendy's or Verizon tried to purchase AT&T, the government would stop them quick, fast and in a hurry. Time will tell rather SGC remains truly independent or PSA forces them to grqduately fade away.

As someone who has been collecting since the late 70's early 80's, who at one time, believed grading cards was a complete waste of time and money, but came to realize that if you are serious abut this hobby, regardless if you are trying to protect your personal collection and/or in the business...noticed I stated "business," and not hobby, then it's imperative that you get yor cards graded.

Hey guys, looking forward to using your submission service. This is probaly a dumb question but I wanted to be 100% sure on it. For 'Crips Focus' are we talking about printing issues like you see in some of the old Topps cards where it prints the image a tad bit off on a different layer of printing causing a blurry image or are we talking about the photo itself kind of like what we see in newer cards where they use old photos from like the 70s or something where the image is just blurry itself. I kind of felt like the latter was not a thing since that mean you could never get a 10 on that specific card. Sry, I just started grading a few years ago.

In 1991, 2 buddies and I imported 5000 sets from Spain. As basketball cards became more popular, we found these sets in Spain and then imported a total of 5000 sets....the NBA office did verify the set is NBA licensed... as we were worried if they were not and could be confiscated at customs.. the stickers, random, and way more MJ, Magic, and Bird vs the 7 other players... which the other 7 players are super rare/stickers.

Joe, First National for me and my 14 yr old son. We have a couple of grail cards we want to pick up. One being 1993/ 94 Scoring Kings Michael Jordan and the other 1986 Fleer Sticker Michael Jordan. My question is do dealers buy or give cash credit on $20-$50 value cards or is it a waste of time to bring them?
@robertwilliams53526 ай бұрын
Waste of time. They will offer you $10 for your $50 card.

Joe & Doug: Love the channel and your content!!! You guys do a great job!!! I have a number of really nice vintage 60's and 70's baseball star rookie cards that I'd like to send in to you guys for the $4/card prescreening service. My question is this...Will I get the results of the $4/card prescreening while the cards are still in your possession so that once I green light them to be sent off for screening by either PSA or SGC (will you include a recommendation of which one to use?) they don't have to leave your shop and you can send them off to the screening company on my behalf? Thanks again...

Many influencers have highlighted that PSA has gotten harder/more inconsistent with vintage cards than in the past. Is that your experience? What’s your accuracy with pre-1990 cards? Pre-1975 cards?
@jude9996 ай бұрын
2 grades harder than 20 years ago for sure. I have broken out a slab from 2000 and resubmitted. Went from an 8 to a 6.

My parents when they sold our childhood home came across my box of trading cards (1948 to 1954) and after lugging it around for years it is time to sort through it, which is daunting due to the number of cards. Are the soft holders on your website oversized & thick. You also mentioned oversized cardboard gold and not sure what this is. Also is there a video on best way to catalog them and what type of boxes to put them in? Thanks.
