Great information guys! I do have some older cards but afraid of the grade. I have a very nice 1955 Jim Thorpe #37 that is in great shape. Well centered. Great color. I bought it 25 years ago. I guess I could get it graded just to get it encapsulated. I’m seeing an 8 or a 9. I also have a 58 Jimmy Brown that I’m seeing a 6 or 7. Just hate sending them out.

I submitted and received back three psa orders since may. All value level. Submitted to bgs the exact same day as the first psa submission and bgs only marked them received last week. I live 20 minutes from the bgs facility and even dropped off in person. Psa is the go to these days. Has to be.

PSA is running out of excuses for wait times. Hire more people and let's get these cards graded as fast as the rest. If you want to be the King, act like it! It's a joke that I have 2 orders sitting as received for 3 weeks now.

Most definitely! 50 days in grading. 07/13 entered. PSA ROI is the ONLY reason I use them. However, the numbers are closing

I would very much appreciate an opinion !.?...I have a buddy with many binders of old 50s-60s- 100-500 Dollar cards and he wants 2 get 30 to 50 graded !! ....He wants the best deal !! ...I hear PSA will have Sir Charges on Old cards ! It that True ?...Not asking for financial advise !! Just asking as an opinion and from experience -which company would you go with if in this situation !! Anyone have any opinion ? What would you do if in this situation ?

It really depends on the resale value of the card if you are trying to flip. I'd look at alot of comps first if you feel like they are only 5s-6s. On your top level HOF (Aaron, Clemente, Mays, Ryan, etc) you are fine, but on some of the lower level HOF members it can be a tougher call if the resale value will warrant the investment currently.
