@RonDaG0at I still have them and they're still performing like the first day I had them. I never did a reseal on them either and for as much as I washed my car, never had a problem with condensation.

I have a GS250 2012 and the steering wheel squeaks. The dealer says that the clock spring needs to be replaced. Is the procedure similar to this IS350?

Did you drain the coolant beforehand or just change it really quick to avoid major fluid loss?

Because I already did a coolant flush and fill, I did it as fast as I could to avoid major fluid loss and just fill up coolant again but if it's been coolant that's been in there and I personally didn't know how long, I would've just drained it all.

Hey bro. I got a question and maybe you can help. When i drive my car and increase the rpm. I noticed that sometimes or more than once my paddle shift doesnt go up when i need to change gears. I dont know if I am in a high or low rpm and thats why it wont shift up. But it only happens to my up shift only. The down shift never gives me an issue. Do you think i have the same issue as you? Or is this an existing problem with lexus cars.

To be honest, I'm not too sure. It could possibly be, wouldn't hurt to try and swap it out to see if it fixes the issue.

What I usually do is have someone apply pressure from the exhaust tip to push it towards the front of the engine so you could get the nuts threaded onto the bolt. If you don't have a second person which is a hit and miss for me then I usually just muscle it.

How is the cat holding up a year after install? Any lights or codes? Such a big price difference from the Honda genuine, but I'm into saving money for other parts. I've had a piece of wire holding my cat manifold in place so it doesnt rattle and make annoying sound. It's been that way since 2017, the first wire wrap rusted away and I wrapped it a second time but I'm trying to finally replace cat along with the entire exhaust pipe and muffler here soon for aesthetics and maybe it helps quiet down.

It held up until I sold the crv, never threw a code on me, though. I have read of others getting a code a month later after install. Guess I just got lucky with mine because it lasted until I sold it.

Thank you so much for the video , I had this problem too. the sunroof was loose and it would thud every little bump ( I live in Cali so most of these roads are very imperfect) the gasket shrinks and that’s what causes it to be loose. And I know this a common problem with almost every Lexus around this year. Little tip for anyone trying to diy it. Buy silicone lubricant. It will make your job easier.

If you have a closed loop system. Why have the filter? So the back valve cover is still same without a catch can?

I actually ended up taking off the filter and plugging the top to close the system. Only showed it in the video because it came with it but yes, for those doing this application and you're routing it back to the engine, you'll need a closed system meaning no filter. Recently did an oil change and checked the oil catch can, did it's job. Very minimal oil collection but still there capturing oil and moisture.

Thanks glad it helped out, wished I had made an update video because when I went to do an oil change, I checked the oil catch can and it was doing its job capturing oil and water vapors. The liquid in the catch can was a chocolate caramel color, nothing crazy in volume, was still able to see the bottom of the oil catch can.

It held up pretty good, up until I decided to take them to go get chemically dipped to remove everything and start fresh. My best advice when doing this, take your time on the clear coat and be greedy with it, clear will help protect and hold the base color altogether.

@@topg1964 The 4is bumper doesn't flow well if you look at the side of the car. BUT if you have a flymotor1 side panel with vent it will.

How difficult was it to adjust the beams up? Seems like you can't reach that adjuster when the headlights are installed.

It's a pain honestly, left the bumper off for ease of access to the headlights. Literally pull the headlights off, adjust, drive around, and repeat until desired aim is achieved.

I just purchased a 2013 Honda Pilot EX-L, 114,000 miles... The PCV valve I removed, in two pieces, looked to be the one installed at the factory. Replace your PCV valves folks. These are a vital part of a proper functioning motor, effecting everything from the life of the motor to fuel economy. Since changing mine, running some injector cleaner through the gas tank, cleaning the throttle body and EGR valve, I have already gained 2 mpg in fuel economy. the PCV valve cost me $35, and a bit of elbow grease.
