@TilsonGuitar8 күн бұрын

@TilsonGuitar7 күн бұрын

Amazing-two things: first, a thousand thanks for responding to my request for this tutorial earlier today (can't believe you put this together this quickly!). Second, although I was making some headway earlier today while watching your original performance video, I was stumped at where you were pulling off that second overtone-pad of the finger is very clever indeed! Thanks so much!

You are very welcome! I’m glad I could help! I think the using the pad helps a bit too because it moves less “off axis” from that 7th fret spot than the finger tips

I was gonna say this is a heresy but its more like a tribute, which of course is a 'good thing' In September of 1979 while sitting in the drivers seat of his old chevy station wagon in the parking lot of the Coffee Pot in Roanoke Va at 230 AM, Mr. Vaughns drummer, in the passenger seat, said " Steve, we're gonna die like this" ...Steve said " Oh no man, were not gonna die like this, we're gonna go down in a ball of fire like the Big Bopper and those guys" I know this George.
@TilsonGuitar23 күн бұрын
@@Alvinthefrog-qq6yq Well, I certainly didn’t mean any “heresy,” I just love playing SRV songs, and adding some of my own guitar licks here and there. Thanks for listening. That’s a very sad story. I loved Richie Valens growing up, and both accidents were beyond horrible.
