..... thanks for the glimmer of hope, feeling a bit blessed that i do not have any fishes and my block is still intact. Its dried out and wd-40'd now I just have to face the nightmares of why the crankshaft won't move. Thank you for the video, i am absorbing everything i can. (I had too much fun in the most amazing hail filled rain puddle/Lake, it was glorious, i have zero regrets.)

The coolant you add is more than the min and max line. Why not stick to the min line? which was half of that box.

Mira también en las diferencias también en los oríngs, puntos de sostén del oríngs, etc. totalmente fuera de los controles de fabricación. Deberían pagar con cárcel por la estafa que comenten día a día.

Took me about 5 hours on my first try. I did go very slow and was very meticulous. I also had to fish out the CCV and PCV since both of them cracked.

Your supposed to hold the dipstick down when checking. Gravity will make the oil flow up the stick (down) when holding it upside down.

Thanks for the tip. I could see how that would help for absolute accuracy but then I could see most people would then need to twist their head sideways to read. I suppose you could just develop the skill.

I bought an aisin pump for my 98 Toyota RAV4 a few weeks ago. I have to replace now because of weep hole leakage. The seal is not stopping coolant...Coolant flows straight through.

Great video and thanks for sharing. Aisin is my go to for timing belt kits as I don't trust anything else as I've seen and heard of so many stories of pulleys and stuff failing very early on non-OEM or non-Aisin related timing components. I believe there are a lot of counterfeit parts going around on the internet such as if you buy from Amazon, eBay and so forth. Just need to be careful out there. I wouldn't take a chance myself I would either buy from a reputable parts store/place, RockAuto or the dealer for stuff like timing components. The inferior casting and stuff like that on the water pump would be a huge red flag even though some people are saying it is still going. Thanks for the insights. I subscribed to your channel, thanks.

Thank you sir!, I had one come in last week with a shredded belt, completely soaked with oil and coolant, I checked pulleys and bearings all seamed OK, the balancer felt tight/ intact by hand... but being a GM tech, never really looked too hard at the balancer other than it was tight, didn't know what a good one should look like... it came back belt shredded, 100% that's the issue, plus I tried to sell a front crank seal last time, I wonder if I would have realized the balancer was fucked while doing the seal? Either way, thank you for the brilliant tech tip!
