I tried xvox pro and the demo was hard to use, it silenced too often and I couldn’t hear the finished product ! I think a few days of unlimited use would be better and I probably would have bought it !

One can be balanced but That doesnt mean perspective is fixed and center doesnt mean balance Stay fluid and moving cuz too many people in one room is overkill no matter where you move Open a door and window or step outside ? 😂

I just bought this and whoever says this a scam or snakeoil doesn't understand how to use this tool. I've been composing and mixing for 20+ years and I love this thing. so easy, transparent and absolutely worth the $$.. I have every relevant plug-in and most used tools and this is now on my list as a go to. and it's fun because you get good mixes FAST.

But you still clipping bro you need to leave some headroom for mastering .
@nuroaudio2 күн бұрын
Thanks for your comment! We mention how to deal with that at 3:02 Remember we also have a limiter on the mixbus already, but we could take that off before mastering if needed!

Couple of questions 1. This plugin you're using seems to have it all in one but are you generally using any standalone EQs or Comps before and/or after using this tool? I don't really have any plugins that have all these options in one I just use stuff like REQ 2-6, LA2A, R-VOX Comp, and R Desser all separately before I worry about verb and delays. 2. Next question is does that chourus effect eliminate the need of recording double vocals to back up the lead? If not please explain why. Thank you much!
@nuroaudio2 күн бұрын
Great questions! 1. No - in this video and others on our channel, we're not doing any additional processing before or after. What you're hearing is just the raw vocal and whatever processing you see on screen! 2. Chorus doesn't eliminate the need to double track - if you want a "doubled vocal sound" (meaning you want it to sound like there are multiple stacks of vocals), the only way to get that effect is to record multiple takes. Chorus gives you a different sound that is somewhat similar, but not the same. Chorus is kind of a "synthetic" way to thicken a vocal, which sounds really pleasant and desirable if that's the effect you want, but it won't ever sound like you recorded double vocals. A lot of times, it's good to use a combination of both techniques - record doubles, and try applying a little chorus to the lead to thicken it up (if you're going for a very big sound, that is!) Hope this helps!

in my mind the 200 Presets in the Xvox Pro or Xrack Pro has an unbelievable value for the most beginners, amateurs and people that do only sometimes audio- / vocalrecording. The best simple way is, to try some of these presets in your musical style and you will have some professional results or starting points!! in a minute to make some further decisions .....

I love Xvox Pro, but I have a question, do you EQ each vocal track outside of XVox pro before adding the Tone and adjusting the mid and high ranges? Or do you ONLY use this for EQ?
@nuroaudio3 күн бұрын
Great question, thanks for asking! 98% of the time, I find that I can get exactly where I want the vocal to be with just the tone section of Xvox Pro, simply by switching different tone modes and finding the one that fits best for each vocal and direction I want to take the mix. (Each of the tone modes is a completely unique curve under the hood, as shown by the EQ curve display). In some very rare cases where there's a serious issue with the vocal recording (and it can't be re-recorded for whatever reason), it may require some very surgical "fixing" EQ. I would take care of that before going into Xvox Pro. Of course, if I find myself doing a lot of "fixing" EQ (or really any type of "fixing" processing on a regular basis) - I'll do my best to figure out the root cause and fix it there, the results always seem to come out better in my experience!

It is pleasure to see Your mixing. You know what your are doing just by looking how you level tracks. Xvox is great, I love it! Eventualy I will upgrade to Pro version, because gate, and ducking function for reverb and delay does magic. ✌️😁

Balance is a misunderstood word. That's why people don't get it. If you got a dictionary it's clearly explained. A state in Wich Opposing Forces harmonize

Perspective tip was eye-opening! In real life you dont see musicians(instruments) staggered around the corners of the room but next to each other on the stage. So far I was thinking the goal was to achieve a real life balance of the sounds in the mix but actually this sweet spot illustration sounds better than the real life!

Since I bought Xvox Pro I was amazed at how much I could achieve with a single plugin. I can definitely get professional results using few plugins and best of all few resources for those of us who don't have a super computer. I am saving every penny to be able to buy Xrack because I know it is a plugin that complements very well with Xvox as both have what it takes to be able to mix a whole song! Thanks for the tutorials also... Greetings from Ecuador 🇪🇨!!

XVox has been extremely helpful for my new album. I usually have had to have multiple tracks and aux sends for tons of VSTs to properly process my vocal chain, but XVox has saved me from that. Thanks for dropping such a dope product. Hope you keep them coming with more updates or releases, especially XVox Pro, it's been FIRE!

Dummy newby here. Thanks just got bundle but not started yet. So i should have clean vocal track...then apply pitch correction xpitch.....and then this in chain right?
@kioleovo6705Күн бұрын
Hey hey, wanted to offer good tips. 1) Yes start clean and fresh; ensure you RECORD CLEAN; watch your sibilance; watch out for background humming/noise/echos; and make sure the levels are good. Its better to have audio too loud WITHOUT DISTORTION than a vocal track thats too quiet and you introduce other issues 2) Know the vibe of the song and what room(ambience) you require for the track. If its a song like he did, you want reverb and eq AFTER the vocals are recorded right. I do indie so i make sure the way i sound when i sing is airy like. 3) THE REST IS EAR TRAINING. The way you might mix for YOU can be different for different voices. The basics of a good mix are EQ/Balance/ Dynamics and panning. If you get those right, you can play around easier. Hope this helps 💐
