This quest is fundamentally broken and requires an update to fix. I’m Lv40 and they will not stay on the field if you don’t take damage from them. Boo Cookies makes them both leave the next turn and avoiding damage makes them leave. Avoid this “quest” at all costs!

They, in fact, planned for the game to be Darker in the beginning, although Nintendo didn't let that slide. So yeah it was limited to go all in with the Mature and Dark Tone Continuing of the Game.

They probably planned it, wanted to go far with the dark themes atmosphere from the beginning. But I think the issue here is that the age rating is too low for a Mario Game altogether Going This Kind of Route Continuing Forward.

Remember when the consept art had the bros beaten up by thier clothes. The original idea in fact that was to have this Mario Luigi Game Be Much Darker Focused. But Nintendo Unfortunately wouldn't allow that so it got scrapped altogether. Which I think was a missed opportunity to not have it included in the final ending.

I'm pretty sure this was the only time I got game overs in my playthrough. The closest I've been was against Zokket where I literally was on 1 hp on one of the bros. The other was dead. I had to dodge with 1 hp while carrying my bro. Dear god

The way I beat the challenge was to use hatch me if you can and zapperator as much as possible, because that way they all receive damage and there is no way they can all heal. Also, when they spin at you, just dodge or guard because jumping on them will actually cause them to heal. Once at least one of them is dead the rest is far easier.

If you finish Fortress Zokket, instead of Adaphne saving you it is IDLE. It's a shame this video didn't show that. Might want to update that. It's a really cool cutscene too.

Sure having a bad ending involving fake peach here may not exist but I could see why. It’s because there’s no save block in that area, meaning if you died to a bad ending, you have to fight whatever boss comes before this moment

On Hard: Grab a stone, kill the bat (fastest way to do is on top of the air stream). Keep at least 3 bats in play and attack the fire octo with bats and rock. Use 2 fire octos to clear the ground level (electro dude should be there meanwhile). Place 2 fire octos near the thing in the middle, grap the plant while thing in the middle is disturbed. Kill the slug with electro dude and rock. Time was 1.27.

If you pay attention, you'll notice that Peach is a lot less "alive" in this version of the Mushroom Kingdom, aside from her animations in the castle. She remains almost perfectly still.

also remember that after 2 gameover you can set difficulty to Easy and then another for super easy if you cant do it still

I’ll personally tough it out. The attack pattern isn’t that hard to memorize and even if it is, you always have access to Boo Biscuits. The hard part is that the Shark Bones has a nasty habit of running away.

@sailorkotori5385 The atmosphere with Mario and Luigi running in a long corridor resembles what you can find in B3313 (several very long locations) The fake princess Peach comes out of nowhere, like in B3313 where she can be found in certain levels or castles This Peach leads Mario and Luigi into a trap, like at the end of B3313 There is a false mushroom kingdom
