Well. That didn’t work. I just ended up with thicker roller lines bc of the paint building up each section. I’m ready to start chopping this thing up as fire wood. 😞

I needed this video more than you know. I watched all over her videos back and forth for months and I was still struggling. I have a piece similar to yours and I haven’t tried the working in small sections on the top yet. So my fingers are crossed as I have literally redone the top of my dresser at minimum 9 times now. 🥴

you're under selling yourself and that's not really helping other furniture flippers That dresser should've been sold for a minimum of $600 maybe 700 I know it's risky people don't wanna put themselves out there but it's the worst that can happen you might sit on a piece for a whole month before the right person comes along to buy it but the amount of storage that dresser is offering it is well worth $700 I would try to raise your prices

I have seen this technique on youtube before. Typically they use deck stain brushes for detail areas. The broom head is good for large surfaces like table tops. Search pottery barn finish for users doing this technique so you can find the tools they use. Good for you for trying something new, looks good :)

20 Years ago i had a dresser that was a beige color and i took a paint brush and made brush strokes and it looked pretty good...who knew! Lol

I used a paint stain to make the brush strokes, turned out pretty good 20 years ago. You did a great job!

I would not choose greenish, but I need to redo some things for a new house, and this color would look great there. It has old honey colored hardwood floors. This green is very warm and reads as neutral to me.

Hello, I just added my satin tip coat and it came out streaky and blotchy. Do you haben any experience with this issue? Would you say the matte/ flat top coats have less likelihood of streaking? Thank you
