I personally would have filled all the scratches. I know some are factory but the color is not a rustic look color. I love the color but I think it could have looked 100 times better filled in. Taking the time to do that could have gotten you a better selling point. I will have to try that paint. Thank you for sharing

I owned this exact piece of furniture. It was interesting to see what you did with it. The top black is either real or faux leather. It helped keep the top of the dresser from getting scratched and dirty. I’m glad you left it. I really like the sage and touch of gold. If I had kept mine, I would have do 0:40 ne something very similar.

Painting the hardware black would look better with the black top. I would have painted it if using gold hardware. 🤷‍♀️

So many little dings! and scratches--one looks like from a fork! Some filler would have gone a long way. Next time fill in the gouges. Love the hardware,

Think the handles should have been painted black to match the top. Good job.

Too rough for me, I would have filled all of the dents and holes, but I do like the color combo.

I’m the odd one out who actually likes the character of the dings😂 totally get it though! The next makeover is going to be a lot more sleek! Stay tuned and thanks for watching!

I was given two three-drawer dressers in the same style and have been wondering what to do with them. Why didn’t you fill the scrapes and gouges before painting for a less rustic look? Was it just a time issue?

All of the scrapes and scratches were factory done and honestly I liked the pattern. I thought it played into the rustic farmhouse look I was going for! Thanks for watching!

With the original rustic look, I would have sandered and done a natural paint wash/stain finish to compliment the gorgeous wood and bumps in it. Possibly would’ve painted the leather top black and painted the drawer pulls black . 🌸

All those gouges and dings were from the factory lol yes I’m serious that was a look leather top and heavy distress almost Spanish looking type gouges in furniture was a big thing in the late 80s eEarly 90s. Great job.

Wow.. $350 for a really poor job. I think you cut way too many corners on this one. Full of gouges and i dont trust the paint job will last 5m
