That is weird seeing palm trees AND snow at the same time. This amount of snow is nothing up in maine. That is about what I have now but sometimes it's gotten up to 3 feet deep and I had to dig out a path to the garage to get the snowblower.

I grew up there. And my family is still there. Never has this happened. Sure, we would get an inch maybe every 10 years. Nothing like this.

"How are ya, sir?" "Hawaii? Damn it, Bill. I'm supposed to be in California!" I realize I'm way late to the video, but this just appeared in my list of suggested videos. When you scrap non-working VCRs, do you actually throw them in the trash? Or, do you bring them to a center that takes used electronics for recycling? Hopefully, it's the latter.

Nice. The only VCRs I've found at local thrift stores have been broken - lots of broken gears when I got them home and opened them up... I found a couple camcorders recently, a Digital8 and a mini DV. They both work, but I was bummed to learn that the Digital8 wasn't one of the models that can also play analog Hi8, and I have a few Hi8 tapes to digitize.

I have the aiwa version of this VCR. Mine needs to be serviced. I just scored several nice VCRs and some with DVD players in them. I also scored a SVHS player. Only $10 because they said it ate tapes. I got it home and it did no such thing. Pretty Lucky I guess

I have an old (late 80s-early 90s) Complete RCA VHS camcorder with all the accessories. Case, 3 batteries , an assortment of lens filters and the charger. Seeing this makes me want to break it out and see if it is still functional.

use diagonal cut to both ends and sellotape on back

@@esecallum The reason I put up the link is that using this method allows you to get the tape ends without needing take the case apart. Works most of time and is a lot quicker.

Maybe just put 2 labels on each item. One on the case and one on the item. There really isn't need for more than that. You can shave off a good 5 minutes of work flow doing that. Times that by an average day x a year. That time adds up quick. Think smart not Bart.
@cocothegeek_9 күн бұрын
You might be able to get an Intern in Broadcasting or Media who could definitely help with the tape labeling. Because you are right it's definitely taking up productivity time.

I am looking for a two-way rewinder to make my own cleaner like this. will pretty much model work as long as its not an auto start like the slide in ones that are more common? Also, does an auto eject feature cause any issues with fooling the interlock?
