When dubbing tapes on Macs, can it be done on any Mac, or do some models perform better than others?

Curious how you don't think it was a "total success" when you say you got it all for free and 11 of them work, including the boxed VCR with the remote? Free money is always a total success, no matter how much.

I still have a Sony VHS bought many years ago that am using to digitise to some vhs picked up couple of years ago, also got a VHS to DVD machine that used few years ago to copy my own recorded VHS stuff

I have this deck it's a great one. It has glass heads to last forever, good moters. It will give you years of enjoyment. Congratulations a great trade. The speakers I don't think are original the reel to reel deck does not have an internal amp. The deck is worth about $475 to $600

For many years I have taken mold from tape. It would be great if every tape with mold wheeled freely. There are some types of aggressive molds that pass to the face of the tape and glue. Tapes with mold in this way need to be unfolded manually and slowly, until it will be released. Even after releasing, it is a risk to put this tape on a VCR, as the face of the tape is marked, and this can damage the head of the Videocasse. But if the content is very important ...

Love the channel! A question I have is how do you know when to export to 16x9 or 4x3? I guess mostly with DVDs? Is there a way to tell how the original was filmed? Also, what's the system called where you have multiple computers to one main computer with your drive plugged in? looks very handy

I didnt know what this was until now.This was because i was playing a VHS copy of my fathers recorded cable music videos and the picture on the vcr froze. So when i took the videotape out it looked exactly like Stick shed.i tried telling my dad about the problem but apparently he forgot all about it and rewinded the tape to the very beggining.my parents vcr is now damaged because of it
