You will need to report sales tax, so that generally requiresyou to get a reseller's certificate

@@PaulJLipsky I have seen complaints of people not getting a resale certificate having a virtual address. I have an ipostal1 address (CMRA Y) and not a unique physical address. Will I get one? Also, can I apply for one after making decent sales since it costs $60 to get one. Looking forward to your reply.

- I thought a Reseller Certificate is more for a reseller, who is buying wholesale products to avoid paying sales tax on their purchases - How does that impact a dropshipper who sells on marketplace(only), who is reselling an item that they already paid sale tax on, and on ebay sold items, ebay is remitting sales tax to the appropriate states on their behalf?

On that Mainstay patio set, their profit is only $3 if any!.. Because you still have to pay Sales tax on Walmart, and eBay selling fees, and they are selling it for a promotional deal of $144. Also, it does not even include if they are paying eBay promoted listing fees or if they are sending any other offers.. And if they are using AutoDs they need to include those fees too.. They may be loosing money... I don't think everyone knows how to price correctly, - maybe you can make a video about pricing!

Actually, we don't pay any sales tax to Walmart! The promotions often stay longer than you think. But if they go away, the price just goes up on eBay

Paul have you had the issue with Wal Mart where they cancel your orders when putting in new customers addresses due to security concerns and then you have to try to reorder them 24 hours later? Been running into that a lot lately and it is very frustrating.

- I always wonder what criteria is being used for a product to make it on a Trending product page? - For example that electric blanket sold only 2 times, but its on a Trending list, but there's actually over $50k electric blankets sold on eBay in the past 30 days.. - What's so special about that electric blanket with 2 sales? i have been selling on ebay for a couple years now the old school way mainly using it like a garage sale lol when i get too much clutter i start selling on ebay. I want to try drop shipping but i have a 100 percent rating and I can get a top rated seller badge now.. I guess i am scared to try drop shipping with my main store but if i make a new one then i dont have any ratings again. hmmm.

You will probably use top rated because you can't dispatch as fast with dropshipping. But it hasn't negatively impacted sales from our experience

I’ve been reselling on eBay for a bit now and recently got into drop shipping. I get very minimal traction on what I’m selling even if I have done hours of research. Is this normal? When I was reselling I got a lot of traction on my products pretty quick. Thanks Paul!

Dropshipping is different from reselling so that's pretty normal. They style of selling and the types of products you sell are going to be different. So there is a learning curve for sure

Hi Paul, I am starting to dropship from eBay to TikTok Shop and I'm hoping you can answer this question. I bought one of my own products just to test the process, and the eBay seller included a packing slip/invoice with the package. I can't imagine buyers from TikTok will be happy to see that the product came from eBay at a lower price than they paid. I am using the Fulfilled by AutoDS feature. But how do you personally handle this issue? -Thanks so much
