I’m with you on the silks….it’s a slippery slope. I think it’s a good investment because they add variety to my bags. Maybe I’m fooling myself….😆! Your new silk is beautiful on your Prada…perfect color combo!

Hey Nick, my S A has also texted me with a picture of this gift too! I am heading to pick it up next week…no parties. I have enjoyed Longchamp since 1998 and they have improved heaps. It’s one of those brands that I head to when I want to satisfy my bag shopping itch 😂 Thanks for the bandeau tip…I am going to do that with the handles of my bag😊 Have a fantabulous weekend 🎉🎉🎉

How do you get invited to parties at luxury stores please? Do you have to do KZbin or is it if you let the sales associate know you are interested in events? I would be interested in going to one next year. X

I think I get invited due to the relationship with my Sales Associate primarily, but I would imagine it’s also due to the fact that I shop frequently with the brand across categories. It’s one of the only brands I get invited to events for but I am so grateful to be able to go !

Rich people never own designer bags, they usually choose MOMCOCO . Middle class people just buy stuff to look rich because they are middle class and not very smart.

Had to take a few days and think about this. Fashion Roadman and Tanner Leatherstein have both spoken to or demonstrated the extremely poor quality of so-called luxury goods, even as fashion houses hike up prices. Burberry and Mulberry admitted they priced their goods too high and will lower them. Tanner dissected a Chanel bag so badly made that he thought it was fake despite it being authenticated. And let's not forget that many fashion houses secretly make their bags in third world countries using poorly paid women and children, but still also a made in Europe label on them. If fashion houses want to put an end to fakes, they'll make a quality product at a fair price point. LV, for example, used to sell for just a bit more than Coach 10-15 years ago. They still made a healthy profit. They're just being greedy now, charging 2, 3, or even 5x what they did a decade ago for a poorer quality product. So I have little sympathy for most brands doing this. People are starting to turn to lesser known or new brands that still have high quality. Think FLP, Delage, Pinel & Pinel, Aspinal. That, to me, is more ethical than buying a dupe. But either way, I'm not judging anyone on this. Thanks for bringing up this difficult topic!

Great choices lovely Nick. have a fabulous holiday you lucky thing. I wish I were going on a holiday. Hubby and I haven't been on one for 6 and 1/2 years. Boy time flies. Too many surgeries in that time so haven't been able to go anywhere and can't see going anywhere in the near future. Had a surgery last week. Having another one next week and maybe a huge one next year. Fun times. 🤣 Have to laugh or I will cry. Much love to you and sweet Poppy. Jenni. XX💞
