I get the hair dryer, soften the plastic so it doesn't snap, but the heat is also going to expand the metal screw. So a theory could be the gold plastic doesn't react the same as the others to the heat. So the metal screw expands from the heat, and the plastic doesn't do what you'd expect, say just stays the same, so now the screw gets a death grip since it's grew in size ever so slightly from the heat.

I had Bristle Back and Slog as a kid. Liked Slog more. I also had the Micromaster Rocket Base! And Flattop! man, the memories are coming back...

Came to recollect over a past and former hobby from the good old days... Left with a small hole of sadness over the Scatman Crothers tribute. Truly a down to earth and honest individual who was talented enough to make a mark in not only Transformers history, but film and entertainment as a whole. Rest in Peace indeed, sir. That pretender head idea would be more than perfect to immortalize his role as Jazz. *(Maybe Hasbro didn't do it out of respect by not trying to capitalize off of his passing at the time, perhaps? Who can say.)*

This is exactly why, to this day, Ratchet and Ironhide will NEVER be in my collection. They were fails from the start and always will be without upgrade parts.

I remember the micromasters very fondly. They were the last Transformers I ever bought as a kid...tried to collect them all and really dug their look. I was shocked to find out how much they go for on the secondary market these days.

I was 11 and just starting middle school when The Movie came out. We all rode our bikes to the mall to watch it and it did not disappoint. Being a little older, the death of prime and others didn't really affect me like some. Also, I was kinda out of buying the toys at that point and had moved on to video games and Bikes etc. I am kinda glad as well because that 1986 line is when the wheels really started coming off. They were always kids toys but man they got real childish with that 3rd wave. And don't even get me started on the Rodimus Prime toy as a replacement for Optimus Prime lol. Oh also, I really appreciate all the work you put in to these videos!

I like the way the original GI Joe started off with the green uniform look. They have more of a military feel like that not that I'm knocking the other GI Joe that came along but still the first ones were my favorite!

I never had any of the big toys they were a bit pricey for pocket money and I wasn’t into the centurions enough to save or ask for a birthday or Xmas gift but I had a watch of max witch was like a mini figure you could attach to a plastic strap
