Brings back happy memories from my youth. Loved the show when I was a kid.

Thanks for this trip down memory lane. This was one of my earliest toys as well. I was in Kindergarten in 1977, so that must of been around the time that I got this. I haven't seen one of these since I was a kid, so I had forgotten about some of the features, but this video brings back those memories.

Thank you Michael!!! Col Steve Austin is one of the coolest and best heroes of all time, and definitely ranks super high on my list!! This doll is in marvelous condition, the one I have I pieced together, but still need to find the accessories. I know there has been some rumblings about a reboot or a film possibly in the works, and as much as I love the 70's Six Million Dollar Man show, along with the Bionic Woman and the made for TV movies in the 80's and the rebooted short lived Bionic Woman show, I would welcome a new show or film, as I think the more bionic stuff the better!!! Again thank you very much Sir!!! 😘👍

My pleasure, Gazz! I remember hearing Mark Wahlberg was going to be in a reboot some years back but it never came to be. How funny would it be if Stone Cold Steve Austin starred in a reboot? 😁

DANG!!! His uniform is MINT!!! My poor guy needs a new outfit asap! Nice find! First iteration came out in 75-76…? I was a BIG fan of the show and saved old school Crappy Tire money to save up for him!🤣🤣🤣✌️🤘🇨🇦

I had one of these! Mine came with an “engine block” that he could lift with his bionic arm. I always wondered as a kid, how he could lift it without a bionic back? Yeah, even as a five-year-old I was overthinking things… great review!

That's a great point about the bionic back! 😆

My brother got this toy when I was born as a consolation prize I guess. I got to play with it some time in the 80s.

Awesome video, brother. And to merge the respective worlds of both Steve Austins: Mattel came out with a truly bonkers (in a good way) Andre the Giant as Sasquatch from Six Million Dollar Man. Very fuzzy. Very cool.
@droe25702 ай бұрын
I had that when I was a kid. I also had the GI Joe one with the fuzzy hair.

In the last few years, I sold off all my $6 million dollar man ,bionic woman ,Bigfoot Maskatron ,Desth SpaceProbe and Fembot collection except for two items I kept was the 1975 $6 dollar million man Steve Austin, and the space repair station because those were the two items I received as a kid on Christmas morning. I never had all that other stuff but I would say out of everything I sold I miss the bionic Bigfoot.

Man, I wish small town toy shows were a thing in Maine. We have one toy show (technically 2, but it's the same show in two different parts of the state at different times of year) and it's more of a nerd craft show / autograph show with very few vintage toys and comics. It was pretty disappointing to have to pay to shop something so lackluster. I will say the pictures from this year did look better so maybe I'll give them a second chance...

i once bought replacement rubber fo4 hia arm. a few years back and dont remember from whom, but its out there bruh.

Hopefully you can remove the rubber easily and find another piece to replace it. I think there is a painted on control panel under there?

I had this guy. So so disappointed with myself. I was too young to appreciate how much my folks spent on my toys and I ended up mistreating him. Great video though MM!
