I wish some indie studio would do a remake/re-imagining-remaster-whatever of Might and Magic 6-8 (NOT Heroes of) while keeping faithful to the originals. It blows the mind that nobody has made a similar game to those 3. There are first person dungeon crawler games but they all miss the mark in some way or another.

Nobody is talking about galaxyland and I'm kinda bewildered. It looks amazing.

just hope Warside comes to switch as well as consoles, and has good AI, unlike Wargrooves.

You missed a big one, **Silence of the Siren**. Early Access starting very soon (September 30), it's a Heroes of Might and Magic-like with plenty of twists and updates to the formula, and after playing the demo on steam, I have to say the game design is really smart. These devs are clearly veterans of the genre. Every change I saw I was like "oh yeah, this is a great idea". Also some of the units have fairly OP abilities, which I'm glad to see, rather than some games which are very timid with their unit design. It's not a huge developer so maybe I'm crazy to say this, but I think this game will actually be the big successor to HoMM, and not HoMM: Olden Era. Of course it's also possible that both will be good :)

Here's hoping they don't need Ubisoft, since between its most recent release and its next scheduled title I don't know if it can survive until 2025.

Two quick ones to mention. The demo came out for Terralysia came out and it's like risk of rain 2 and vampire survivor. And wild bastards. Same guys who made void bastards. And gotta be honest. The shooting in that game felt kinda stale. But everything else was great. The problem is it sits at a $40 price point.

This list is 90% indie trash....and the rest isn't much better.

Yoooooo!!!! I haven't even finished the video but this list so far is str8 fyreeee!! A new Shadow Hearts type game!! A new Wild Arms type game!!! Exhibition 33 looks epic! I recently heard about Metaphor! I swear RPGs are being bought back to life and it makes me so happy! My biggest gripe is that I haven't bought a new console since the PS4 and Switch. I'm hoping all of these games come to at least to PS4. It will probably be glitchy because of it😭😭 I'm hoping that soon someone will try to breathe life back into Xenogears and Breath of Fire using kickstarter. I swear I would die a happy man if I hear news that someone is undertaking that. Xenosaga was nice but it wasn’t as good to me. It struggled to keep my attention. At least maybe they could try to remake the game and this time finish the 2nd disc the way they really wanted to. I bet if they did that and the game turned out a huge success it might push them to make a 2nd one. I wouldn’t even be tripping on graphics or updating anything from the first disc, just soley focused on the 2nd disc. But not even past the first four on the list and I'm looking forward to all of these games! Great video!! I will save this to remind myself to keep track of all of these games. I hope I'm able to play them without having to buy a new console😢 I also have a PC but I don't think it will be strong enough for these graphics. I have to lower a lot of my game settings for my Total War Warhammer 3.

What a nice list, full of surprises (to me). I have one for you, too: *(Beyond) Galaxyland* . A retro-futuristic 2D pixel-art adventure game that features a (supposedly) deep RPG frame with cool tactical turn-based combat.

Small note about Dragon Quest 3. They altered Akira Toriyama's designs for some of the female characters. From what I heard it's getting backlash over this in Japan. Very badly timed censorship considering he passed away only a few months ago. I am excited to see turn based JRPG's coming back into style but sadly I personally am skipping the remake. The rest though especially Mario and Luigi I am very excited about.

I have had some disappointment in the PC Steam store pulling down demos only to find that they require controllers to play. Like they spent all that time making a port for PC, but including Mouse support was a step too far.

I'm so excited for Metaphor Refantazio. My hype is immense.
