@@TurnBasedLovers I remember when Christopher Odd was doing a let's play of Darkest Dungeon 2. He liked it too, at first, until getting just past the halfway point. Then he kept losing over and over and without notice abandoned it. He's actually quite good with these types of games, so I was surprised. Maybe the developers have re-balanced it by now..

Its mixed by three groups, DD1 purist (bigger group), people who don't like Roguelike (smaller group) and troll who don't own the game or either somehow commenting. Main issue if you look and compare 9 year old game vs a 1 year old game if you don't count epic, then you can see only 4% completion rate of the old game including easy mode, while dd2 is at 14% completion rate which is higher. A lot of the negative comments either don't have the game, pre-release old reviews, can't read tutorials or somehow, they wanted it to be the Hamlet again (dd1) while being different. The game shouldn't be at mostly positive, if it wasn't for most of dd1 purist. (purist are right now those who disregarded the problems of the first game and act like it didn't take 3 years for the first game to be widely acceptable compared to a new game)
