Thank you for sharing this video. Brings back many memories. My dad worked as a shedman at Humerail Loco until 1963. It breaks my heart to see what was once a bustling Loco turned to absolutely nothing.

Hi the loco keep on slipping becuase I forget to fill the sand boxes, I have the original video of that whole trip.

Top footage! Lovely, hard beat from the loco - nice and loud and crisp - absolutely beautiful! I can't wait for 134 to be up and running in Wales so I can go and film her! Bryn

The reason for the slippage at the begining is that this very heavy train carrying artillary pieces had stopped to far round the balloon loop and was already 1/3 of the way up a 1 in 30. Why ? So the other long train that the video is taken from would fit into the loop. How do we know this? Well its me shoveling the coal in to the NG15-117
