It does not add any power to a stock truck with a stock tune. If you tune the truck, then it can help add more power vs the stock intake elbow.

What's the issue with the Aisin? It's a tow heavy transmission and it tow haul mode, it doesn't get any better.

I agree the Aisin performs outstanding for towing...but its not the fastest for acceleration. I guess it maybe that Ram feels like they gotta have more gears to compete with the others.

If the truck has emissions compliant tuning on it, yes. Deleted no because we cannot separate the engine tuning from the trans tuning on anything 2010 or newer.

I’m very tempted to try this tuning for my 2023. I run a hotshot setup, and I want to maximize my efficiency and performance, without killing my truck. I wish I had more insight on what would help and hurt me to keep this truck running for the long haul.

With dot cracking down on the smallest of items, how would this affect warranty. Would they see it’s been flashed or re-written?

On the 22 and newer models, you have to change the PCM out to one out of 19-21 model to tune them...so you would simply put the original PCM back in for a warranty situation...which would have never been tuned and leaves no trace.

Can we build custom emissions systems? Why should we be forced to use a factory DPF/DEF system? Is B100 clean enough to run on a diet and be clean. @@DOUBLERDIESEL I'm disappointed that they would do that. It's the truth. It doesn't provide power (actually lost power) without tuning. I bought their intake horn and disappointed after watching your video. It cost nearly $1K so you can lose power. I'm not spending more money on those turbo tubes either, I don't see it making any power and they are like $600+ for two tubes. But I'm going to tell the truth though. When people ask, I'm going to tell them Banks asked you to take your video down. Good luck to you.

s&b cold air intake with the cotton filer use the paper filter drive and cotton fiber towing my 24 3500 with 2k miles never regen till the cotton fiber filter changed to their paper filter no regs now towing the dpf is on zero but empty just like yours every 100 miles takes 5 mins to swap . im in washington NC with a 24 what can you do with it ?

Hey Ray, I have S and B on my 2020 6.7 cummins and have gotten an EGR overflow code thst the dealer says is being caused by the aftermarket airbox, any recommendation from your professional self regarding this issue and maybe some options for me? Love your channel!

Some of the earlier S&B intakes did not leave the MAF sensor calibrated correctly. We can tune the truck and recalibrate the MAF sensor to correct these issues.

Glad you did this video, I have an 18 2500 (68rfe) that would only do the flare from 3rd to 4th. Just recently in the past month it started doing the flare from 3-4-5. A week after that it started doing it from 3-4-5-6. For that reason I sent here to the dealers under my extended warranty. I also noticed my trans temps were getting up to 186 just sitting at the light. Again glad you did this video cause mine didn’t act the same as yours mine was jumping 3-4 hundred during the shifts and that wasn’t putting a lot of power down. I drive pretty mellow.

We we all would love to just turn off the EGR and use more DEF, but the government says you cannot tamper with EGR tuning under any circumstance. Fass is working on an EGR filter system for our trucks though. That should help.

The "company" lost a fan and customer after their threats and making you take the vid down. Send it to me, I'll put it on my channel. They're scared and people are seeing through their BS. No way a 165CFM plenum can benefit from the increased airflow delivered by their product. Not till you do a bunch of work are you going to see a thing. The fan boy comments on the other video from the Utah guys are funny. My oil is cleaner now I got 5 more MPG. I have peace of mind. Have to admit though, it's eye candy.

We are not allowed to revise anyone's delete tuning. We are not even allowed to send out old tune files either if they are for a deleted truck. I hate it but our hands are tied on that.

Im not trying to ask a "prohibited question" But if the DPF and SCR are still present . Can the EGR be disabled. The egr is the killer of these engines IMO.

Agreed EGR is the true killer, but we are not allowed to disable EGR flow, even if it does not cause any increase emissions out the tail pipe. EGR is considered an "element of design", which the CAA forbids tampering with.

Amazing content! I understand the frustration with the “company” that made you put the video down. I really thought it was so useful to see, and it just proved that the tuning made that much of a difference. I would love to see another video with all the data. I have a 2023 and love the videos on these trucks. Sad to see this “company” reach out and treat you this way. That doesn’t sit well with me, and more than likely lost a few customers in the process.

Very good question! I am not a legal expert, but here is my take... Chevron allowed government agencies to make their own policies and enforce them. The Clean Air Act is a law and not a policy. The CAA is very clear that you cannot remove emissions systems on licensed motor vehicles. So unless the CAA is changed, you still cannot legally delete your truck. What may be changed is the ability to argue in court against some of the policies that the agencies have set forth. Policies are not voted upon laws and the Supreme Court decision against Chevron opens to door to argue against those policies.
