Was fortunate to see this show in NYC in 2013 and it is hands down one of the best live magic shows ive ever been to.

It's probably the same concept as the "assassin's teapot". That being said I can't really confirm if that's how it really works. It's just one way how this illusion could be achieved

That was pretty cool but what I remember was REALLY COOL i saw it back in the 80s and Johnny Carson and I can still remember it to this day is Bubble magic. This guy on Carson blew my mind doing bubble magic way back when

The cartels should hire this guy to transport drugs across the boarder. Then if he ever gets pulled over, he can say “let me just show you my magic nutcracker for a moment” and the drugs will disappear and there will be nothing to charge him with

Ah same principle as the asassins teapot. There are several different components inside the kettle and you control what comes put by putting your hand over hidden holes

Steve, great job! Not the best venue for skilled, close-up magic. Watching Dave with other magicians, he does not seem to be really interested but tries to figure out how to inject his style of humor. I believe this goes all the way back to the 1980s when he would feature "KaMarr, the Discount Magician" and make fun of the act.

I think the best part of the effect, which is not included here, is when a cup of coffee is produced and the spectator is asked if he wants milk and then he proceeds to produce milk.

Sounds conveniant to have at home. Why store your milk and coffee in seprtate containers when you can store it in the same one

these are so great because Dave really enjoys these magicians and he can't control his delight, his best one, was when Tom Mullica did his cigarette bit and Dave was so blown away by it he couldn't contain himself

Anthony Dowd my late friend Paul Daniels did a wonderful job performing the magic kettle back in the 80s but bare in mind that he did not create the magic kettle. There were many other before Paul... specially during the 30, 40s and 50s . The barebones of the drink act were actually done using a bottle and Robert boudin (again) was the responsible for building some of the known apparatus BUT it was not houdin either who created the drink act. Anderson, The wizard of the north , receives the first title regarding the magic bar. Others that were famous for doing it were macalister, Charles Hoffman, Dante, Burlling hull, Milton Woodward and Millicent cooper, les levante, the great Faust, nardini, Jeffrey Atkins and there were actually others such as David berglas (yes, he did it as well ) and even John Calvert. Eddie Joseph did it as well by the way but there were many more... is so old, that is new

@Zheugma
@Zheugma 3 жыл бұрын
@@howardsternisbatman yes it was lol Paul was a good friend. When he came up with that routine, he was way to ahead of time. Others did it 20 years prior and it was a commonly seen act during prohibition, but Paul indeed took it to another level back in 1979.

In movies they'll post spoiler alert as to not spoil the ending for someone who hasn't seen it yet or for someone who isn't going to see it but would still like to be in the know. Maybe to satisfy the curious maintain some secrecy that method could be adopted.

The fact that she even thought to say MMM good Bread - shows how self absorbed she is - and rude. Even if she were to just fake it - say "WOW AMAZING" so the guest she had on - wouldn't feel like crap.

The dresscode part is pretty genious. It makes the audience become invested even before they arrive at the show and creates a "this is special" mood while they're still at home dressing up. It's like a sign of mutual trust: The spectators trust the magician's promise it will be worth it and the magician trusts the audience they will respect the dresscode and play along. Win-win for both.
