if they were here there would be seals with severe injuries turning up on our beaches, as they do on cape cod. there is no doubt as to what attacked them, the injuries are that bad.

I almost cried watching this. They don't harm anyone... why harm them? They are so gentle and watching them is so relaxing. It would be a dream of life to swim with these fish.

There are great whites in the Med, the North Atlantic, and off the African coast. They would have to be deliberately avoiding the UK to not be found there. As with ALL cases, it is based on the number of people in the water, and Britain has very few people entering it's waters compared to places with more shark sightings. If we had as many people in th water as Australia we would have a comparable number of sightings and attacks.

Definitely a great idea safe guarding them for future generations, catch and release all the way if fishing for them, mako's should get a helping hand aswell, along with threshers..

I’ve had the privilege of swimming with them right off Isla Mujeres. They congregate right in the area in droves to feed in the summer months. A reputable and responsible tour operator will only let you get into the water with a guide and will forbid you to touch the sharks. If you do they, will have you come back on the boat and will not let you in the water again.

giant sharks feeding on zooplankton, unimaginable how long a day they have to feed, secondly, what we throw in the water, the marine life has to live with. we really should start eating vegetarian.
