Good protection no doubt, my guide swears by pumps and semi, he says though rare, if caught off guard shot placement is virtually impossible. The crazy guy said the first time he was extremely lucky with his 454. Now, he puts out a wall of lead , I'm guessing. Nice weapons. I've heard there some Brazilian co. that makes great shotguns....Bazialtec or something. Don't know if there relates to Rossi or Taurus

With all that wind consider a wind generator also. Wind blows at night.
@thelonemoose47185 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching Charles. Yes, the wind sure does blow at night too. I have thought about it, and may add that in at some future point. That would also require a hybrid charge controller/inverter system since wind generators produce A/C current, whereas solar produce D/C current. The other issue here is constructing a base. Frost heave is a major problem so I can't just build a slab on grade platform. If you see the piers that the container is on, the deepest one had to go down 27 feet to hit solid rock! Even though I wouldn't need piers that are rated at 90,000# each, like those holding up the container, it would still require some deep piers to then support a concrete base to attach the mast too. It's definitely something to consider on down the road a ways. Thanks for the suggestion!!

Bill, All I can say is WOW. Lots of good progress. I had to laugh during the last video, seeing my old real estate agent's sign out by the highway. She was helping me look for a place when I was up there in September of 2019. Loved the pictures of Mt. Illiamna. Stay safe my friend.
@thelonemoose47185 ай бұрын
Thanks John!! The only issue is that was Mt. Redoubt... LOL!!! Iliamna, yes it's visible from the property as well, is a bit farther to the south. I don't think I captured any of it in the photos... but then again, I've been known to be wrong... at least once a day... LOL!!

Can still order 80 volt Kobalt Chainsaw through LOWES online. I'm even looking at the Oregon 20" bar and chain for my KOBALT 80 volt chainsaw. I have (2) Kobalt 80-volt 18" Bar Chainsaws and use (2) 5 AH Batteries. I’m 79 and love NO more having to pull a cord to start a gas-powered chainsaw. My first 80-volt 18" Bar Chain saw with a 5-AH Battery and charger was $400 in Jul 2021. it is still being sold on the Lowes website as of 5/26/2024 - I use them on our Southeast LA farm of 18 acres of tall large pine trees that were devastated by a Hurricane and tornado. On 10 acres of the property, nearly all the trees are down or dead. My chainsaws have been working great and cutting huge logs and trees and logs up to 20"+ and it works great. I also use the 80-volt 10” Pole saw, lawnmower, and Leaf Blower.

@thelonemoose47186 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching!! I agree with you completely... but in the "disposable" society we live in nowadays, everything is stacked against reusability, especially of medically related equipment. It's all a huge scam to create profits for the companies who make, sell, and use these types of devices!! Corporate greed at work!!! and of course the FDA, which by the way is regulated by these entities (under the table that is), does the bidding of the corporations by creating regulations to prohibit reuse. Heck, for all I know, they probably also prohibit recycling of the electronics portions of the devices. What a waste...

Hey Allie!! How's it going?? Yep, I'm up here now...until Labor Day weekend, when I fly back to TX to get another load of my "stuff", my 4Runner, and the remaining dogs. Then I drive back up here again, and will be here for the long haul at that point. Yep, I had folks doing work on the property over the fall and winter, and they did amazing work. Now the Sky Cabin is about 4' up in the air, thus the new name... lol!! I'm still staying in Kenai until the middle of next month at which time I have to move in to the container, ready or not. Over the new 2-3 years I'll be building expansion on it so that it will end up around 1400 sq. ft. when completed. You drove by huh??? You should have stopped and painted "Allie was here" on the walls... LOL!!! That would have been priceless! Take care young lady!!
