Thank you for the video! penn foster really needs more videos or something explaining the whole process. There's so much text about how to upload things but nothing about how to actually FIND a mentor. its so stressful ><

I worked as a veterinary assistant for 3 years and two different clinics. The first, was a two doctor practice with one technician and four assistants including myself. We worked from 7am to as late as 11pm for minimum wage. I did everything a technician did for no pay or recognition. I recently moved across the country and am currently in school in the PF program.

Hi, hello! I have more of a question about the vet tech program you went through (pennfoster). Do you think it would be possible to finish the program in 12 months? Also, does one have to take videos of clinical/ extern tasks and then send them in?

@comegetmyxlove
@comegetmyxlove 3 ай бұрын
@@xxxMarijaaa You do not need a VA program/certificate. In fact, most vet offices will train on the job (preferably if you have vet experience) but it's not a real degree or anything. You need a degree with Vet Tech and need to become licensed/certified/registered depending on state requirements.

Can you speak more about your experience with the semester exams? How difficult are they? Are resources provided to study the material that will be on the exam? How did your proctoring experience go? The reason I ask, is because I have seen several negative reviews about Penn Foster, in which people felt that they were required to read all this material, that was not actually part of the test. Or was so obscure that it what difficult as they did not learn about certain things that were on the test. Are the proctor exams open book or open note? Are they multiple choice or essay. I have also seen several reviews stating that with this school they did not provide any study guides or the study guides, again were not helpful. Thank you, so much! I know it is a lot to ask but I am trying to decide whether this school would be right for me or if I should pursue another. The negative reviews I see time and time again are very frightening.

Hi there Hannah! I am a new subscriber as of last night and I found you from watching julie that lives in Texas. I am a Pen Foster student and a baby tech going on over 2years now in the field. Love your videos! I to over think things and that makes it tough for me some days at work. School is tougher for me since I have been out of school for along time now. There’s so much book knowledge to learn. I’m behind and wanna push forward but sometimes coming home from work makes it hard and exhausting and not enough time to study.
