How snug is the P-bass in that thing? I recently got a Gator LED universal bass case, and even though Sweetwater had it listed as being a "certified fit", I'm going to return it because it doesn't securely hold my 4-string Fender JB, my 5-string Squire Affinity, or my Player P-bass, all 3 of which are listed as "certified fit" on their website. Either I got a defective one, or someone as Sweetwater is drunk in the case department. The body slides around a lot and the neck doesn't even stay in the neck groove at all. So even though the case is closed, I can feel and hear the bass flopping around inside. I'm considering one of the G&G ones for my Fender Player P-bass, but I just want to be sure it's snug.

There appears to be something off with your Custom Authentic. There should only be one push pull knob not 3. Perhaps it has been altered ?

I have one of these in Worn Black, truly a sleeper hit. The bridge pickup can sound just as nasally and cutting as instruments that rhyme with Schmender Schmazz.

Nice i just bought a Vintera 60s modified and all i did was buy an ashtray cover [not sure if i'll leave it on to play but looks cool on the stand ]and an F neckplate to replace the sterile one they come with The.only thing left i dont like is the lack of a bone nut but changing that is way beyond me and can't see it's worth paying a luthier .it can't make any difference to the sound can it ?

The headstock “swoosh” is actually Leo giving Fender the middle finger after they threatened to sue him. I personally love it for that reason alone, but it does grow on you and if not you can always use it as a weapon 👍

You can also attach the standard 421 mic clip to the MZS421 if you want more adjustability since the MZS421 doesn't have a swingable fulcrum. (See bottom of instructions.) And for U4 and U5s, the adjustment screw on the MZS421 can be moved to better fit. But it looks like it worked great for you. I love 421s. Thanks for making this video.

I'm in the process of repairing a similar (but worse) crack in the same place on an LTD M-17. I was able to open the crack with a plastic pry tool and flow a lot of watered-down (50/50) Elmer's wood glue into the crack before clamping and cleaning the excess. For your repair, I would have tried to open the crack just a bit using a knife or other such sharp blade. I doubt you got 100% coverage with that superfast thin glue. I have some and I hate it. Dries before it can flow far. I only use it to seat loose frets.
