My late husband worked for Sperry Rand then Univac later Unisys from 1973 until the day before he died in 2013. He graduated from college and enlisted in the Army before he was drafted. Instead of going into officer's training school, he trained as a computer tech in the army and was hired by Sperry Rand when he got out. He loved it. He was there for 40 years.

Gary Moore smoked constantly on "I've Got a Secret". I have been watching the reruns over the past few years and it's amazing how he could never put a cigarette down. I think he even held a baby with one.

Warning: This thompsontech wanted to be ingenious, so he inserted piano chords throughout the WHOLE episode. The result: he RUINED the show👎. Also, the title is incorrect.

Printing analytical maps in the 1950's? That blows Jack Dangermond and Esri out of the water.

Meanwhile in the Soviet Union there are slaves dying in a gulag. This is why we won the cold war folks; because of Betty Crocker cakes ❤😂

No one's gonna mention how the man in this picked up a whole slice of iced cake and ate it like a sandwich and the director just let him?

The uploader is doing a disservice to the viewers by claiming this episode was banned...it wasn't. Smoking was very common in those days, and there was no banning going on. The bans occur today, not back then.

That soundtrack is a mess. Very poor quality. Maybe you could take a video editing course at your local community college.

It's amazing how computing has progressed in my lifetime. That room-sized Univac costing around $15,000,000 at today's values made 2000 calculations per second. In my home office I have a workstation that offers up to 50 billion calculations per second. I bought it used for under $300...

Even if it was right14yrs ago,it still sounds a right old mess! Violin sounds out of place with notes not. You need lots more practice with that one. It all needs a re-think.
