It's mandatory to be a Combat Diver to be a SEAL let alone ST6. Tyler Grey, a former DELTA said that he couldn't be a SEAL because he can't float in the water. So we know for a fact that you can make DELTA by not learning how to swim. That's why DELTA is only air and land. SEALS are SEA, AIR, LAND. 3 is more than 2.

This guy's really smart, and wise. I understand what you're going for Dave, but I don't think you need to bait anyone, or even remind them that they don't have to share certain things. They'll let you know. I love that he talks about meditation. Someday, I hope, the military will insist that all their personal engage in meditation. "Teach Peace" I love it.

When I served, I felt like the Rangers I saw at Ft. Leonard Wood were God-like. It's just awe-inspiring to hear from a humble, intelligent man who went even farther. Thank you David, for sharing some of your story with us. I'm very sorry for the loss of your brother, and Pepper. I really appreciate you talking about exposure therapy too. It's so painful until it gets easier.

And we are supposed to take this guy seriously, just look at him, would anyone take what he states seriously, he must be in his mid 50’s dresses like a hippy, hasn’t seen a barber in years & doesn’t seem to know wearing a baseball cap backwards went out of fashion years ago, sorry but he doesn’t strike me as a very upfront reliable individual.

The Team House podcast had on DevGru Squadron commander Matt Stevens not to long ago, who was apart of the recovery effort during the Operation Redwings disaster 2005. He said the RRD guys were some the biggest bad asses he had ever seen. He said those guys were coming off a mission in the mountains not related to Red Wings, and were down almost no water, food and little sleep when they joined the bigger rescue effort of looking for the 4 man Recce Team. Matt Stevens said he witnessed SEALs, SF, regular line Company Rangers and Afghan Partner Forces either become heat casualties or quit from exhaustion. The RRD guys just kept pushing and stayed on mission the during the entire. They were on a completely different level

The scriptures say, "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart." Jerimiah 29:13. When the scriptures are opened to you and the veil is pulled back, revelation takes place, what is referred to as an "Epiphany". This moment when the Word becomes "Alive" is the "New Birth" or "Born Again", being born of the Spirit as the Spirit and Word identify with (your) spirit, that what the Word says is true; because the spirit of man with him IS the part that was created in the likeness and image of The Living God.

Where can we find the official KIA list for all campaigns? There should be a dedicated news channel or even YT channel that broadcasts this information. The public needs to be aware of the names and souls giving their lives for the US military. Also, the MIA/POW list.

The Brits were the masters of all around warfare in WW2... decipher craft - brilliant minds to break enigma.... designers and construction of earliest computers.... ultimate spy crafters and ability.... radar utilization early-on, making magnetron upgrades to practibility, nuclear physics, proximity fuse, hedgehog, quick development of specific weapons for specific tasks (Hobart's Funnys) (scared the life out of German defenders @ Normandy)... Lancasters, Spits, Mosquitos, Merlins, dam busters, block buster bombs, experts at static warfare... on and on....and on. But the biggest act of bravery, skill and insane steeley determination were Brit Commandos ramming their ship (loaded with mass-explosives) into the the ship/sub repair pens in France. This American salutes the British people and says thank you for the most extreme sacrifices in beating back tyranny.

"Do you think anything can be done for guys who are still in ..." This was a perfect question. It is the question that we should be asking, and trying to answer. And I think Mr. Edwards hinted at the answer: you got to give these guys a break and rotate them out of the billet. It's tougher for SEALS and Air Force 24th STS, because there are no direct action units to which they can go in their branch. But that lifestyle is just so punishing, physically and mentally. For example, the guys in the Ranger bats train so dang hard, they break their bodies with landing-strip parachute landing falls, long rucks in uneven terrain, and constant pressure to be "prefect." Wrecks their bodies, wrecks their families. Big Army, I think, would benefit by having these guys rotate through regular infantry divisions. And knock down the branch silos. Put a SEAL in the 24th ID as a company 1st Sgt. Put a 75th guy in the 1st ID as a platoon sgt. It would give these troopers some invaluable downtime. The bigger point is that I really appreciate Mr. Hookstead trying to figure out how we can help these guys from killing themselves emotionally and physically.

This is actually a really interesting case study in how to *repulse* a raid by special operators or SWAT, etc.... : be alert, have HE (frag grenades), have LMGs, be able to maneuver inside your facility without using the main corridors, and anticipate air support arriving, so have a means to exfil from the objective before bombs arrive on your head. Tunneling is damn near an essential military skill for any urban irregular force at this point.

this was almost 20 yrs ago at this point. trust me when i and others tell u things have changed and its not that easy anymore, your going to need more then tunnels and a fortified fighting position. theres a saying "Evolve and adapt at the speed of war" trust me they evolved and adapted after that engagement.

Most of the military operations are conducted at night, prolonged period of late night, morning sleep changed the biological clock, and of course affected how our brain works, which impacts the release of chemicals. The disruption of brain chemicals can causes sudden wood change and anger issues. This is going to be more severe if didn't get reversed as the person get older. Likely the soldiers lifestyle haven't quite changed as if it jobs are also tactical related, like cops, security, and any other advisoring industry.
