This is only marketing. This system is very costly to replace. It wears out quickly. Has 0 benefits as a non mild hybrid audi has the same start stop functioning at a trafic light. The costing is shit. It would be fine if the speed was maintained. But its droping fast hence you can achieve the same without mhev system

@blacov89 it's 2L less in "normal" driving but when you you floor both it's 3-4L. That's why diesel is a much better choice for "constant dynamic everyday driving". It also has ~ 50% more power at lower (everyday) rpm. Few know that torque x rpm = power. SQ7 with same engine V8 consumes 2L more because it's an SUV, especially on highway (height of the vehicle and wind resistance).

Can you test Honda Civic Hybrid? Fuel consumption, acceleration, etc.. You test a lot of Toyota hybrids, so it would be interesting how Honda hybrid compares. Apparently, Honda hybrid uses a very interesting system, where almost all the time, wheels are driven by electric motor, and petrol engine is only used as a generator.

@@1001cars Can't get that low, but not driving in big city traffic with many lights and stops etc. so this is probably the reason. Last 160km journey on motorway at around 125km/h ended with 5.6l/100km which sounds good. Suspension is quite hard though, but car feel in corners etc. is brilliant. @@1001cars Consumption is ok. I have not tested motorways much yet, but urban/city is good for sure. What is more interesting is dynamics. Short acceleration is great. 0-100km/h is out of range of full power of electric motor (battery is probably too small/restricted), so it's not the best.
