Hi, may I ask if you were able to choose the type of scheme to apply as while filling up the bto application? As for me, it does not allow me to select any scheme to apply as and when I reach the application summary page, it shows that I am applying under public scheme.

You shouldn't pay for the door repair, it was just glued down when they built it, there isn't long screws or nail at the three side of door frame to secure it, sue the management lah 😅

Glad to know faults are being resolved...😇 Some IDs will say everything can be done but when the contractors get involved, not all can be done.Need to substitute this and that😵

Initially without looking through the comments, I thought you engaged contractors directly because those mistakes occurred were obviously due to inexperience, ID job scopes include project management, coordination and the workmanship of their sub-contractors, since they are paid for such services, they are also responsible for those mistakes that doesn't meet your expectation or work that are deem unacceptable by market standard, otherwise you are better off engaging those contractors yourself right? I saw in your latest video that you have hired another contractor to rectify those carpentry issues, you should talk your ID again for partial refund, feedback of all their pages on social media platforms would be the last resort if agreement cant be met.

Saw your video and was horrified by the renovation :O TBH, I read your replies defending the ID - I think there is no point doing so because its super *unprofessional* of them to sublet their services to such an unreliable contractor. Secondly, as an ID (aka paid 30-50% markup price for the 'project management'), why wasn't they there to supervise when the contractor was executing? My friend had the exact same bad experience with ID - with marked up prices, they expected the ID to provide design advice/suggestions but they didnt. Failed to point out that after waterproofing the kitchen - the tiles with the living room will become uneven. The sublet contractor left out many items and the ID didnt even notice until my friend's dad pointed it out after looking thru the checklist. The ID was literally not present at site - only came once/twice briefly to take pictures of them being on-site during reno. Lastly, my friend had a tight agreed timeline of one month as they were renting another place at a same time. My friend's dad had to push the foreign workers who were just seating around for a long time. All in all, after watching your video, I feel even more convinced to go straight to hiring a contractor (or Contractor-ID) with a good project manager. There are so many designs on Pinterest. And also ensure that my contractor has a good team of reliable manpower
