I think the "we are safe placard' was not based on telling "I'm safe or We are safe". It's not even about the safety. It's about telling people to send women to school and college. Using the situation most of the regressive parents don't send their daughters to school. These kind of issue become their powerful tool in their actions to justify. That's why they have had such placard. It's not about "We are safe". We have to have both "Safety and Education" to women untill the point no one needs to talk about it. Giving protection and safety is not anyone's duty (but government's duty as a whole) and not anyone's to give.

I totally agree your point on anna university case but in atul subash case the woman earning money from working at Accenture she used the alimony as the weapon to exploit the subash . Nowadays most of the women use alimony case as the weapon to men. That's why men are asking to ban or update the alimony case. Nowadays most of woman are working. Well, I too find it common nowadays that people are just tying to defend their perspectives rather than focusing on the actual issue. But I believe that in Atul's case, there was a need to talk about the misuse of laws and the exorbinant alimony charges because they were the root cause for his death. Not just misusing of laws, but the laws itself are gender-biased which made it difficult for him to prove his innocence. It was essential to talk about it but people suddenly turned it into a gender debate, deviating from the real issue. So it's necessary to equally talk about both the victim and the causes, only then another person wouldn't become a victim due to it. And I see your response to be contradictory to your opinion because yourself did not talk about Atul's case when it happened but only raising out it here and not actually talking about the vicitm as well. So it is just making me doubt the truthfulness of your views on the issue.
