Good information. I like your delivery, too. I have a friend who I'm trying to influence to have a conversation about something super uncomfortable for her. It's a life changing revelation, but it's one that she needs to come to terms with (and one with which I have the same experience). Part of her being scared is keeping me at arm's length (not because I've done anything wrong; it's just her particular issue she's dealing with). It's delicate, but if I could gently guide her to talk, I know I have resources and experience that would really help get her going down the road to feeling better. She's a mess now. Breaks my heart. Your message is so timely.

On the imposter syndrome conversation, it got me looking at different ways to perceive that voice. And that alone is interesting. It is just a thing that exists in the mind at the moment and another part of the mind is creating a meaning out of it. So what can it mean to me? It's obviously fear based and that can lead one to not take action, paralyzed by fear. It can be a good business partner making sure you keep looking for helpful information for yourself and those around you. Keeps you on your toes so you don't feel too comfortable solidifying in how your making sense of reality OR in other words how present you are. Are generalizing and assuming whats in front of you or are you looking at it for what it is, you know? Because that imposter syndrome type of thoughts can help wake you up to like are you asleep and assuming things that are not actually accurate or are you observing clearly? He calls it fiction in his mind but I wonder how much he has chosen to try and befriend it or transform it? There could be so many options now that I think about it.

23:19 seems like he's touching around with the concepts or Rupert Sheldrakes Morphic Resonance theory as well as Carlos Castaneda's explanation of the way of the Nagual and the art of "seeing," as far as that part of us that knows they can learn things that are true beyond language. I have been interested in getting more familiar and comfortable in this type of ultra-experienced "flow zone." Another thing that is weird to me with language is that the concept of polarity as a severely exaggerated form of duality does not seem to be able to exist without the presence of language. That is something else I have recently heen fascinated with and am experimenting around with. I like to imagine all the truth that must be waiting to be discovered right in front of (all of) our eyes, that none of us are still able to see? Although we (as a population right now) seem to be self-balancing ourselves back into a harmonic equilibrium with nature, but still our miseducations must prevent us from seeing so much.. Wow, the other side of the power of words, I hadnt brought up, but apparently, must also be addressed regarding their Beautiful power was expressed so elegantly in that short but powerfully true perceptive suggesstion to "see suffering first," for example.

@@rdreeke Let me preface this by saying it isn’t my intention to discredit this author’s words. In fact, this author and his book are phenomenal. I’m currently reading a communications book, and in it the author mentions how it’s important to avoid asking “Why” questions as much as possible. According to the author, why questions cause your conversational partner to sometimes become defensive in their responses. Instead, this author suggests asking “How” or “What” type questions. In your experiences, what’re your thoughts on this?

Anything forged is fraudulent and fake. Therefore making the relationship fake and the people in it or person trying to do this untrustworthy.
@rdreeke4 ай бұрын
@@T3TheHighPriestingEmpress interesting interpretation… you are totally correct… anything that even hints at a focus on yourself and your gain is manipulation. The focus is always on the other person… ZERO agenda on self. It’s always about empowering the other person with choice. The behaviors of trust are open honest communication, transparency and vulnerability. When you have those behaviors you have the opportunity to “create” or “forge” trust. And whether trust is forged is up to the Other person… ☺️🙏
@Andy-jt8wz4 ай бұрын
It may be beneficial to understand that the word forge has multiple meanings. 1. make or shape (a metal object) by heating it in a fire or furnace and beating or hammering it. "he forged a great suit of black armor" 2. create (a relationship or new conditions). "the two women forged a close bond" 3. produce a copy or imitation of (a document, signature, banknote, or work or art) for the purpose of deception. "the signature on the check was forged"
