Women have a hard time making decisions and taking risks. Crypto is all about quick decisions and educated gambles. Majority of women can't make quick decisions and aren't risk takers.
@Corporatequitter

I can relate to the being indecisive part, but it's been proven that women actually make better returns on their investments. Also, you're talking about gambling - we're not. The market IS a game, but it doesn't have to be treated like a casino

@3.0colorado21

@@Corporatequitter I didn't mention the stock market, that is a whole different ballgame. Home ownership is not a gamble if you do research before buying, and I don't mean what schools are close by. I use the term, "educated gambles," which, I mean quite literally. You could do all the research in the world and still have no idea that some rich kid in the UK is getting to dump a whole bunch of Dogecoin or something. Every single investment is a risk at some level, but something entirely digital has a bit more risk imo. Day trading with crypto is fun though.

I don't think anyone has a problem with more women in the space. It's strange that they haven't really joined. As far as long-term investing in looking at fundamentals in the quality of coins we do that too that's not just a female thing. If I get stuck holding a bag I want to make sure at least the coin has a good team behind it and a good purpose and a good future. But as far as holding long-term that's the mistake men and women make. Crypto so far historically has always been on a 4-year cycle. So if you're not rich and you're holding on to crypto for 20 years you're going to miss a lot of tops and bottoms You're going to have millions and then watch it turn into tens of thousands and then back into millions again. Better to understand and learn the four-year cycle and sell near the top take that money when it bottoms out two years later and buy it again at the bottom for a fraction of what it was selling for and then sell it again the next top. Seems like traders that follow that sort of pattern are the only ones that make money in this game. Everybody else is paper-rich and then loses it. I hope that you women kill it in this market and make a lot of money. I think that crypto tends to be sexy in a way that's not sexy to women. It's kind of nerdy and very techy unlike maybe gaming that could be fun and techy. There are plenty of analytical women but compared to men I think it's much smaller percentage-wise. There are a couple great KZbinrs that are women that talk about crypto that you should look for. But that being said welcome to the party. Crypto is very wild and very unpredictable especially in the short term. In the long term so far it's been relatively predictable on the four-year cycle. That's all I'm commenting on. Best of luck this is not financial advice and I am not a financial advisor. Hopefully you do very well

Not just why... But who authorized it??? To me.. Chemtrails.. Not CONTRAILS...Are no longer a "theory" when Millions of people witnessed it all the way across the land spanning the entirety of the eclipse path...recorded it.. And pointed it out! The ONLY question now should be...is..who "conspired" this? Who gave the order??? Those were not contrails lol. Commercial Planes do not fly in the patterns those planes flew in. Where did they come from? When were they prepared or filled up with whatever they sprayed? There are hundreds..if not thousands of videos of angry people pointing out the spraying. Where was the warning?? Someone or something showed us who they think is the boss on April 8th. And NO ONE is talking about it! Other than us.. But we are nothing to them. To me.. What they did.. Is a mockery to God.

Quitting corporate can be scary!
@blitzbreak3966

@@CorporatequitterI guess I can understand that to a degree. But I think it’s the uncertainty that’s scary, right? Not knowing if it’s the right choice, not knowing, FOMO, things of that nature…but the quitting part is easy? “Yo, I’m not feeling this anymore, I’m out” (granted there’s a “professional” way). I guess I’m just kind of ignorant. Though just last year I had to resign from a high-salary position to get transferred to another sector in the same company and region, and I’m glad and lucky to still be an ex-pat. I’m sorry if my first comment was rude or a bit asinine. Rough day, but that’s no excuse to allow it to take focus over something I’m admittedly a bit ignorant of. I guess I just wasn’t in the head space to properly grasp the meaning behind the terminology. Best of luck to you and anyone struggling/debating. But regardless, I’m sure anyone considering the choice will kick ass in whatever endeavors might arise from quitting. It really can suck if you don’t feel valued, fulfilled, respected, or appreciated where you are. And the fear of “what might happen” should not paralyze someone with fear to the point they stay in a s*** situation. Humbly and sincerely, I apologize.

Point is "nobody" has ever influenced me to "buy" anything in my life. So i think the problem is - "influencers" are overestimated. People are not stupid! I have a PhD - how do you think i am going to be "stupid" to buy something i dont need??? Because i just dont buy stupid stuff (anything "influencers" are trying to scam me into buying). The cost of living in Europe is much higher compared to the USA and i am not going to waste my money on materialistic stuff. I am certainly in my 40s not going to be buying stuff any "cringe influcencer" suggests. I personally hope "influcencers" disappear as they are annoying and dont add any value and i wish the world would go back to normal with genuine authetic people who are not always trying to nickle and dime everyone. Enough with it all

We're all influenced to do things, even if it's not by someone whose job it is (magazine ads, commercials, etc). It's not a matter of being 'stupid' or falling for something - it's a matter of how much you're desiring the outcome that's being shown. Someone or something influenced you to get a phD, right?

I think peoples money is not going as far as it did in 2014-2020. They are asking questions like do I need this rather than do I want this? And will this last, is it good quality? Can I afford it? The disposable economy is slowing and I think that’s a good thing.

Why would I put the time and money into influencers when I can make those fake UGC ads and measure all the data and performance directly through advertising? Entire agencies are built off providing this now - if I was working B2C I'd definitely go in this direction. I mean just thinking out loud here cos thank god I don't work B2C - I hate those UGC ads, they get me every time.
@Corporatequitter
@Corporatequitter 2 ай бұрын
I think there are pros and cons to both. We saw previously how companies who ONLY relied on Ads completely burned to the ground when Meta/Apple changed its 'rules' and they no longer were able to get the conversions they were used to. On the flip side, trusted influencers (who are in it for the love of the game vs. money) have an extremely high ROI for the partnerships they work with. It really just depends! I appreciate the comment :)
