3.15 there is a MUCH easier and accurate way to do this, if you click on the tool that is after the next of the rotation one on your right (lay on surface its called), it will show you a white flat surface that if you click on will move the helmet in that orientation. So there will be a white disk between the nose and side pieces and you just click on it.

Ive been using regularly pla+ on my bambu for the last year and half. Its been fine but, that being said i really do love this sunlu high speed. I printed a few things and i was so impressed about how smooth and velvety it looked!

@@danielcoombes3310 so it’s 50/50 for me, I tried some ziro pro series and it was terrible but tried silk with some tweaks and it was fine. Doing some research sunlu high speed pla+ & elite series are 95% the same (coming from a material stand point) I do believe a majority of pla can be used on high speed printers no problem but i do see issues in some, however it can be as simple as a temp & retraction issue or the devil moisture
@danielcoombes3310

@@Darkwingdad yeah most of the filaments I've been using this last year and a half with my x1c have just been normal, I've used all sorts including normal sunlu pla+, esun pla+, amolen, yousu to name a few. I actually started using sunlu pla+ high speed by accident. I didn't realise that was what I'd been sent until I saw the quality did most definitely look some what better. High speed is definitely the way to go!! I have had issues with some filaments but I do find a good blast in the dryer sorts that out most of the time. I find the best course of action is not to over think it. Of course sometimes that can be hard after years of messing about with Enders etc. Not that there is anything wrong with them to learn on but printers now days are so much more improved. It's exciting seeing what the future brings. Keep up the good work my dude!🤘

So from what I understand, Bambu Slicer and Orca Slucer are pretty much the same thing. The layout on your looks very similar. In case you hadn't tried it, Bambu Slicer also has the function to cut things up like you did in 3d builder. Maybe it's worth you having a look as I'm sure you can use Bambu Slicer with non bambu printers

Great Video! I've had some issues here recently with taping off prints... most of the prints I had let sit for days before painting, and when I peeled the tape off it took a layer of paint with it, or left that crappy residue behind and ruined the paint... I was using the blue tape, so now that makes sense. I was thinking about even putting a light clear coat over the paint and letting that dry for a day or so before taping... thinking that may help keep the paint from peeling. But, I just ordered some of the automotive stuff to try out, so hopefully that will work for me. Thanks for the video. Love your content!
