After several months of use of OP, my hair became extra greasy at the scalp, but also dry and brittle. At times, small chunks of hair came out (maybe 30 strands in one spot, not horrific, but concerning). Head extremely itchy, and recently I noticed I had one small scab on my scalp. I noticed what looked like breakage from my bleached hair, and my hair volume has decreased considerably. I didn't make the connection until now. I used the clarifying shampoo once a week. Then I bought the blonde shampoo and conditioner, using those very sparingly. I used the #3 perfector maybe 2 times and #5 conditioner and the leave in conditioner a couple times. I've since tossed everything out and am going back to Loreal and Pantene, both of which I've never had any issue with.

I use a lot of Cerave products from my body cream to my face moisturizers and even my toner. I recently heard about using hypochlorous acid spray to soothe irritated skin and redness and keep acne breakouts at bay. I bought one from Ellement off Amazon. It does help.

Hi Jodi. Your skin is really beautiful. When my barrier is compromised, I use the Ordinary Barrier Repair Serum, and a Timeless Peptide serum, and these seem to help a ton!

I have one spot that is always stingy, between my eye and temple. I’ve tried to deal with it, but the rest of my skin is fine. I’ve taken to just treating that area with extra hydration and LRP Cicablast or Avene Cicabalm. I also keep my retinal away from that area. Seems to be working!

And skin is so much healthier without all the makeup!

If there is any scientific prove of the damage from the actual product then why is it still selling?? I use olaplaex for my hair & my hair has been the healthiest it’s ever been…. But i think most importantly you need to know how to use the product & apply properly.

I'm in my late 40's and I use setting spray and setting powder.

I find it surprising difficult to find cream blushes that last without setting with a powder blush. The whole point for me of cream products is giving me the hydration I need. But too many cream blushes are gone in an hour unless I put on much much more than I think looks right.

I had the duck plump - a variety of shades actually and I did not mind the burn ( and it burned ) but I thought worth it if it does anything - sadly did not do anything at all to my lips (lol) so I threw them all out. Do you have any tips on how to make your lips look fuller using make up? One of the reasons why I love and appreciate you and your channel is your techniques are subtle and not exaggerated, so maybe future video? lol. Or if you already have one, can you let me know? The lid on the Merit eyeshadow needs to be turned closed until it clicks. However, mine still became dry 🤷🏼‍♀️.

I got the Maybelline color mascara in Burgundy, I think. It doesn’t matter because on my brown eye lashes, the color didn’t show. I got the Maybelline because I wanted to try it before going for the Clinique Black Honey. I’m glad I didn’t!

I just don’t want my makeup to hurt, so I never opted for the NYX Plumping Lip Oil!

First, I have to say you look fabulous without make up! As to the cream, I bought it and it works miracles on sagging, deep-wrinkled skin, you just need to apply a bit more. I tried it on my 78 year old stepdad and he couldn't believe his eyes (pun intended). My 50 year old husband was also amazed by the results. But It's like a magic trick that is fun for parties but is utterly impractical. I couldn't find a way to use it with makeup (and it desperately needs it, as it makes the skin super-matte and noticeably different form the rest of the face) and I absolutely need my hydrating skincare, which again doesn't work well with this cream. Now when I find a travel-sample in beauty boxes or advent calendars, I always give it away to my girlfriends to have fun with it, look 15 years yonger for 10 minutes and then wash it off.

Jodi , Elf putty may work on eyelids? I don't know , can't remember...instead of concealer, for some reason my eyes are so sensitive too concealer on eye lids . 30 percent is great for bk beauty I agree

I have a couple of Revlon and Mac single eyeshadow, but I always forget to use them. Lately I've been using eyeshadow sticks and creams. I'm going to have to dig the singles out. Can you use cream and powder shadows at the same time?
