besides kazuya, i want to shoot myself in the head while playing him (his damage is good but nothing else about him is like when i sidestep into ewgf i cant combo even after the hitbox patches)

Kazuya will always have the curse of being hard to play, on top of that he doesn’t have access to many knowledge check options unfortunately

@@raylnz yeah, but i also feel like tekken 8 kazuya is just weaker than 7 overall the buffs did some nice work on him but his combos still drop for no reason like genuinely yesterday i was face to face whiff punishing my opponent with 2 electrics into the normal combo i always do which always lands but the game just decided not to give him the reach he was supposed to have and dropped my whole match

you mean Steve's b+1? if you want to use b+1 without going to flicker stance, just tap the b+1. also you can cancel the flicker stance by tapping d/b or f+3.

In my experience, in Tekken you can either have fun or you can win. The two are mutually exclusive. It might just be a skill issue though.

Oh yeah d1+2 does evade highs and I can see people not expecting the grab on hit. Only thing is d1+2 is launch punishable on block I think. Other than that seems like a viable strategy 🤝

how did you exactly incooperate flash. you said "time to learn flash" but what does this mean? To me its always a minus-frame move when trying to forsee an incoming attack since the timing needs to be exact. and my further understanding is that you use it in some sort of frame trap setup, but thats too intermediate id think for the beginning so I focus on punishing, poke, throw breakubg - that stuff
