🎉The access express and main line both go to Haneda airport. This is useful if you need to change airports.

Another note you can get on a Chūo rapid train instead to shinjuku, only takes ~10-15 mins , way faster , only works for shinjuku and stations further in chūo line

I have taken the keisei main line from narita airport or narita town to Ueno many times in the past. After a break of many years, I returned to Tokyo this summer, so I decided to take the keisei again for memories sake. i used to think you couldn't go wrong on the main line as you eventually will reach Nippori/Ueno. The worse that could happen was to get a pink rapid black local train which makes many stops. However this time I took a rapid train and had to switch trains at Takasago or Aoto? I did not know about the orange access express so I will try that next time. However this express appears to be available from 18:51 hrs based on the timetable on the station wall. It would be very helpful if you elaborate on how to read the timetable which does not seem to be available online, but only posted as a small sign at the station, as well as the pdf guide to the keisei which is available online. If I recall correctly, the green kosoku tokkyu and the red tokkyu take about 60 mins to reach Ueno so arent they similar to the access express?

Thank you for the very informative video. I have just visited Mt Fuji through bus from Shinjuku last Sunday (11/24/24). The bus ride from Shinjuku started at 8:55AM and it took just about 2 hours to reach the Kawaguchiko station. There were many people going to Mt. Fuji and buses are always full so don’t expect you can get same day bus ticket. There were just as many people at the Kawaguchiko station when we arrived. I also booked the same day return bus trip from Kawaguchiko station to Shinjuku Express Bus Terminal. My return bus is the 16:30 bus and there were many many people at the Kawaguchiko station looking and waiting for their buses. I though my bus ride back to Shinjuku station will be the same time which should be about 2 hours but it ended up to be a 4 hours bus ride because heavy traffic from Kawaguchiko all the way into Tokyo. Lesson learned so next time I will take the train back to Shinjuku/Tokyo.

I heard JR Wide pass could be used untill Otsuki Station and transfer with fujikyu train . But on your video the train could be direct to kawaguchiko station😅

Just used the express to go the other direction (Shinjuku to Narita). You must buy a ticket for the day, time you want to travel. It leaves from platform 5/6 just follow the red markings on the floor through the station. You can buy the ticket at the JR ticket office at the front of the station or there's even a ticket machine on the platform if you have a way into the station.
