Thanks! From Akasaka you have to go to Tokyo station anyway. From Akasaka to Tokyo is a little bit tricky. First you take Chiyoda line to National Diet Bldg then transfer to Marunouchi Line to Tokyo Sta. It' s like 10min ride!

That's is true. I know it's annoying, but you need to buy passenger ticket and express ticket to ride on a Shinkansen😭

No, it does not work that way. If you are going to Kyoto, You have to buy a ticket to Kyoto. When you go back to Tokyo, You have to buy a ticket to Tokyo.

Since the Shinkansen has automatic ticket gates, tickets are forcibly collected. However, I want to leave a memory at the station staff gate! Please ask. It might not work though!

"No reservation" means "unreserved seat", right? If you have an unreserved seat, you can get on the next train even if you are late.
