That is true in most of the hot springs but not all of them…we had a private one so it doesn’t matter.

just check the hotel's website and it is not a private onsen.. just private bath... as the water is just Mt Fuji water, not natural hot spring water... the onsens here are in the public baths or private onsen that you can pay per hour to use.
