Always good to see people learning, this stuff isn't easy. Takes years and practice etc.....

The AI voice is horrible, the translation rough, but it helps to better understand what you're saying. So it's positive. Thank's for tutos

Great review! Do you think if the booth was setup outside but the pressurizing fans were inside a heated shop that it would fill the booth with warm air and keep is warm enough to paint on a 45f day?

The idea of the video is useful in a way that Adam himself may not understand when there is a custom paint by a professional and another by a beginner and the mistakes made by beginners appear and are addressed and corrected immediately, thank you Adam and your friend 🎉❤

Just my opinion, but from what I was seeing I think he would’ve had a little bit better result if he overlapped his passes a little more

Yeah, you’re right. He probably could have the results turned out good still.

I have learned that the Lime Line glamour clear likes to go on wet. I get better results when I do a touch test on the tape, when it is barely stringing, hit it with another coat and it will flow like glass

I have a dual action airbrush and touch up gun. Haven't used the touch up gun yet. It's brand new yet. Bought it when I worked at the auto body paint store. But I've been using the small brush for model car I build. Still trying to get the hang of using it. Still kinda new to that. Even tho I had them as a kid and used to draw pretty good. But been yrs and trying to get into again. Plus they came out with aftermarket parts for models and RC cars to make them look realistic. That's what I mainly practice on. Plus knowing/learning how much paint to mix, what other chemicals/additives and knowing what size needles and nozzles I can use for certain spray ends. I'm trying to work with pearls and metallics.

Hi) Why do you use 2K acrylic clear coat, you can just use binder (transparent base) Then you won't have to sand before the next layers..
@Ortiz_Refinishing7 күн бұрын
Binder would still need to be sanded to smooth out the texture from the metal flake.
@TimeWarpCustomPaint7 күн бұрын
It needs to be sanded to smooth out the surface from the flake.

try blocking with 320 then finish with 400 da. seal and base like normal
@TimeWarpCustomPaint7 күн бұрын
I have. 320-400 is a little too aggressive in my opinion. Those sand scratches could come back to haunt you.

So I have a harbor freight air gun. It has a 1.4 tip. Can I use that to spray everything from base coat to clear coat and flake. I'm getting all the things I need to do this. I just got a 21 gallon air compressor. Will this work to spray all these paints. I don't have much money, so I'm buying what I can at affordable prices. Also I wish I could afford your sander. But will the sander from harbor freight be okay to use.
@TimeWarpCustomPaint8 күн бұрын
Yes, 1.4 will work all around. yes sander from hf is okay, make sure its a 6" pad
@19cad628 күн бұрын
I used the 1.4 from HF and the metal flake came out great! Clean the gun beforehand 👍🏼
