Playing with a Wood racquet is called "Tennis", the modern stuff is called "Cheating." Get that wood racquet strung with real gut and you will enjoy it even more.

Hi Mike thanks for the review. I currently play with the vcore 98. I'm 6'4" and have plenty of power and topspin but I'm looking for more control. I'm thinking of switching up to the Head Speed Pro or MP or the Vcore 97 - in 2025 which of these would you reccomned. And is there anything else I should look at? Thanks for any help.

Would a grommet set for the Head Prestige Tour 2021 (the successor to this one) fit this Prestige Pro? They're both 95 sq in 16x19 and the mold Head used is probably the same. I think the racquet is VERY red and having black full cap grommets could look pretty cool on this racquet, especially combined with a black stringbed. Anybody ever switched out Full Cap grommets?

Slightly off topic but I use the Clash 98 V2 and I find it really good if you prefer a smaller frame. Plenty of comfort, control and spin. Given it got mixed reviews I am pleasantly surprised how nice the racket is to play with. The lowish RA is great for my tennis elbow!

I recently bought this racket after trying 6 demos. I played with vcore 98 for 3 years and now I can’t go back. It surely lacks power compared to vcore but it’s more easier to handle.

Roscoe Tanner was serving bombs with an even tinier racquet. And it was made of aluminium. The PS85 is actually more powerful than you might think due its mass and open string pattern.

They changed the names in the line up, so quite confusing. The 2021 Prestige Tour is the new version of the 2019 Pro. The 2021 Prestige Pro was the 2019 MP. The 2021 Prestige MP was the 2019 Tour.
@benjaminjensen111

The 95" Prestige Tour seems to be more close to a 96.5"-97" when I compare them side by side with my other brand 97's. as far as I can tell the Prestige Tour is pretty close to the actual racket Djokovich is really playing with analysing his actual racket specs and pictures of it on tour. Beam, headsize and shape and string square size and yoke grommets. Paint it in Speed colours and you have almost what he plays with but the 2 extra mains . I think they had to name it a 95" as Head has a clause/deal with Djoko not to sell his racket on market before pension.

I think styling and cool factor should be one category. and I think you lack a spin category. For pure playability you should leave the styling/cool factor seperate when summing up.

Have you had the chance to try the 2023 Prestige Tour? I would like to hear your opinion on that one. Is it just a paint update or does the 2023 actually play differently from the 2021 version? On TW they state the Swing Weight is down by 11 whole points (to 330) but they lowered the SW on the 2021 several times as well. So the best way to know for sure (apart from buying one of course!) is a review by an experienced and knowledgeable reviewer (see what I'm doing here? 😀). Cheers!

@@MikeKomen Ok thanks Mike. Good info. So definitely not just a paint update! A slightly different stick but also a good one. A larger sweet spot is always welcome. I'll try it when it goes on sale right before the 2025 update is here ;-) Cheers!
